Fear a world run by people who destroy Nature for convenience or profit...or those who simply turn away when action is needed to stop the destruction. It may be inconvenient but our children & theirs need us to take action NOW.

Greg Mullins, Climate Councillor & former Commissioner of Fire and Rescue NSW will be my guest on Celebrating Earth & Art tomorrow morning at 10.40am. Greg will be talking about the prospect of an intense bushfire season supercharged by El Niño and climate change, how volunteer and full-time firefighters are feeling after back-to-back fires & flood recovery work & that all important need for better resourcing. He famously said: "It actually makes me really angry when people who are supposed to be leaders of this nation wimp out and don’t want to talk about why it’s getting worse and worse."

This report by Blueprint Institute is an invaluable & timely resource for those letters to NSW State Ministers as well as Federal Ministers calling for an end to native forest logging & siting the economic benefits backing up benefits to environment, biodiversity & climate action. I encourage everyone to write to all ministers but especially NSW Premier Minns, Treasurer Mookhey, Ministers Penny Sharpe,Rose Jackson, Courtney Houssos & Tara Moriarty. In Federal parliament: PM Albanese, Treasurer Jim Chalmers, Ministers Tanya Plibersek & Madeleine King.
You can find their contacts in Google or your favorite search engine. We can do this!

The Minns government’s failure to immediately halt Forestry Corporation NSW plans to log the proposed Great Koala National Park on the Mid North Coast is a policy travesty.
