Evolving into a multi-instrumentalist, his primary instruments being piano, cello, guitar, synthesiser and a variety of exotic ethnic and folk stringed instruments. He is a highly regarded published songwriter, finding success as a member of many notable bands in the 80s and 90s, receiving an induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame. m Studies in the early 90s, Roger went on to pursue a career in film. His interest in orchestration, orchestral composition and arranging culminated in his first film, AYA which received an AFI nomination for Best Film Score. Roger has since written hundreds of hours of score to many television series, documentaries and films in Australia and the US, with several awards and nominations to his extensive credits. He currently divides his time between film projects, writing fiction and, as a member of Steve Kilbey (The Church) and the Winged Heels, playing live and recording three albums due for release in the coming months.
