I’m a 53 year old straight cis male father of 2 and awhile ago I started to wear a rainbow wristband everyday. I decided to do this because, although I might not look like it externally, I am an ally to the LGBTQI+ community and I want to give those in that community a sign that if they were ever in trouble I am a safe person to come to.

My wife was recently relating this to someone she just met and they replied with “Where were you when I was growing up?”

I shall now do this forever.

I’ve had this lawsuit era Japanese Les Paul for maybe 35 years and it’s finally back up and running as a functioning instrument and it’s badass! I call it “The Indian” (because of the sticker) and I think it sounds amazing. I’ve had a blast this week playing ‘lectricity guitar, bass, and Fender Rhodes on a slow Zeppelin-esque blues written by .packman.music and “The Indian” has been exactly the right vibe. I can’t wait for you all to hear it in action on Jo Packman’a new record.
