Another fire place tv installation we have just completed. This one required foxtel box to be fitted below tv, normally we would mount box remotely and use ir senders.

Our last school installation for the year. Network timer/evac and mp3 bell system that we are able to make changes from anywhere in the world that has a network connection. Days of the school bell has changed to a pre music playing so students are aware a bell is about to sound. This system has 5 amplifiers 4 wireless microphones with evac/lockdown and music/bell. Our design for wireless microphones giving the school 300 metre range with remote antenna system.

Hasn’t the school bell changed over the years. I remember when I was going to school everyone wanted to be the period bell ringer. I think it was more the time you got off to get to the switch for the bell that was appealing. Now they have different music playing for different breaks and calming music for a complete lockdown. Luckily the Evac can’t be changed from the Australian standard. What music would you pick for a evacuation song if you could?

Some new monitors for our PA hires. After weighing up between JBL eons and these babies , I decided the 3db more in SPL and overall sound quality made the decision on Yamaha the best option.

Our dealings with TOA now going on 30 years. One of the best speakers to use outside at a surf club. Same wholesaler we use for Lap Gruppen Amps and Midas Mixers. They also supply Behringer for the lower budget installs that still require a certain level of quality and long warranty. As usual we conducted this installation with all the working with heights regulations.

Happy to supply the sound for Vietnam Vets Remembrance Day 2021. We had to use our 100volt line horns as this event was going ahead hail, rain or shine. We have PA’s to cater for all events from ceremonies to rock bands.

A friend of ours has been running a business Rip-Rac for a number of years now. He asked if I could review some of his products. Basically it’s a Velcro storage system for cables great for studio’s to keep cables tidy and in order. Also they have normal single Velcro ties and coloured ones(handy to sort your dmx cable from your mic cables). Also he has a rack system for keeping your fishing rods together. Luckily we have a few outside installs happening at the moment. This school has been a customer for 30 years, as with most of our commercial and domestic customers being previous customers. Pricing and service that others can’t match.

This is a true 2000watts RMS speaker. 5” voice coils allows this sort of power. We normally add 8x 18” subs to keep up to these bins.

This job requires the tv to be recessed, finishing flush to the stone tiling. Will post photos of finished job after tiling is done. This job also has a complete HEOS sound system we are installing thru out the house. Sound available anywhere from the installed app on your phone.

While the sound side of the business is slow due to covid the antenna and satellite side is still going strong.Notice in the photos two different alignments this is due to different phases of transmitting towers.We can do a supply only of equipment and give you guidance on correct installation saving you on labour charges.Give us a call to discuss your needs.

Some days you feel like saying sorry I just can’t fit into that roof space.But another job fixed for a 1/3 of price other companies wanted to charge,problem was faulty splitter not allowing the power pass leg to booster.

After doing production for this band for over 3 years.It was time for a new project and band TRY PLEASURE & PAIN.Pink/ Divinyls Tribute show the production will be doubled what we were using in this clip so please keep a look out for us when restrictions are lifted.

Perfect rainy day to sort out Lighting for the Pink & Divinyls tribute show TRY PLEASURE & PAIN.Trusses need to be check and tested, DMX programs need to be loaded to lighting board.Follow spots need cleaning and testing.

As well as selling these amps I’ve started to replace our hire racks with these Labgruppens.Although this series is made in China they still sound great and with a 10 year warranty you can’t go wrong.

Putting final touches to the production system for Try Pleasure & Pain(Pink/Divinyls tribute show).Didn’t have enough height for the JBL bi radials horn to fit in this photo.Top boxes are SHO series not imported to Australia any more due to their cost.Wharfedale thinking the Australian market only for the low end users,I think is a bad business decision.Anyhow this system will push out 12,000 watts rms.Lighting will include front and back trusses a combination of washes at the front and movers and specials at the rear.This rig will also include a follow spot.DMX programmes for maximum effect not just flashing lights to the music.

Well what a year this has been.Every year I think this maybe the time to slow down but the calls and emails keep coming so I’m not going anywhere except for the usual holidays we need.
TV side has seen increase in install’s and antennas with satellites services on the move.The IQ4 box causing a few issues with people wanting to extend one box to a few tv’s with HDCP not allowing certain splitters and extenders to work.Although we have sorted most problems out now.
Sound side is busy with clubs and school installs working up to Christmas.
Production and Hire as usual this time doing some carols.Band hire this year we took a bit of a hit for being honest.But 2020 have a new show we are supplying production and management for and have bookings already.

This school PA system we installed 10 years ago.Back today to do some minor adjustments,all original equipment working just another school that has used our services for over 20 years.
