I read audiobooks.
Simple straight forward statement, but I literally mean it.
It’s one facet of this rough diamonds voice over cache.
Most of my life I’ve been listening to other people narrating audiobooks to both give me a better insight into what I do in Ultrafonic Soundproof Vocal Booth on my Neumann and also I’m finding it’s a form of meditation.
Listening to someone tell a story is one of the most primal things on our planet.
My latest listening experience was “Boy Swallows Universe”.
Trent Daltons words weren’t my gateway drug for audiobooks, but if I’m being honest I can’t remember what that title was because when this media first landed they were available on vinyl when I was a child.
But it’s only now as my eyes get weaker with age I truly appreciate lying back late at night in bed and drifting off to sleep as my mind floats into another world whilst another narrator does the heavy lifting my pupils refuse to do after reading scripts all day.

A few months back I was invited to work on a shoot with AT SEA, the brief was a little weird and different, and the vision for what it would become super interesting, so I jumped onboard to help them bring it to life.
