Happy Australia Day DillyDalliers.

How will you celebrate Australia Day?

If you are looking for an event, head over to AustraliaDay.org.au to find an event new you.

According to AustraliaDay.org “four in five Australians see Australia Day as being more meaningful than just a day off. It’s a day to come together to celebrate what we love about being Australian. Australia Day is one of the most celebrated days in the country, where over half the country participate or mark the day in some way. Many people take this day as an opportunity to get to together with family and friends, often at the hundreds of community based events around the nation.”

If your looking to extend your cultural knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of the spiritual ways of our First Nations people check out Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr Baumann’s YouTube on Dadirri. Miriam introduces the concept of our inner spring with deep listening, quiet still awareness, and waiting.

However you spend your day make it a day to reflect, respect, and celebrate.

We all have dreams. We make resolutions. We even make plans.
If your dare to, Dream Big.
Then make a plan to achieve your dream.
And just go! Life’s to short to miss out on the adventures. So go out venture, explore, conquer.
Set small goals that are easy to achieve. Make big audacious goals that you can achieve over time.
Reward yourself for your success.

Port Douglas, just north of Cairns in far north Queensland is a tropical town on the Coral Sea. It's a great place to venture, whether you are travellong solo, in a group, as a couple or for a family. It is known for beach resorts and is a perfect base while you explore the Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest reef system, and conquer the Kurands train up to the Daintree National Park, a biodiverse rainforest. Stroll down Macrossan Street to find your perfect resort wear and meals at one of the many boutique shops and restaurants. Curving south is the popular Four Mile Beach where you can get lost and relax for the day.

Western Australia is big, beautiful and a billion years old. At close to the size of Western Europe, and at one-third of Australia, WA offers a diverse experience, from 20,000 kilometres of coastline, you will find glorious beaches, to tropical rainforest, to scorching red desert tracks, and a host of natural wonders. It is the State of Summer somewhere, with Mediterranean conditions in the south through to wet tropics in the north. And the Coral Coast in the middle greets the Indian Ocean and you’ll be spoiled in the evening with majestic sunsets.

Checkout these images to be inspired by the sites and attractions of the Coral Coast.
