This is the worst thing you can do in business.
How do you know what they are doing is making sales and working? 🙄🙄
Likes are not sales.
I am always blown away when people reverse engineer someone's sales funnel yet have no idea if it has worked or not. 😎😎😎
I had the same problems when I ran my own magazine, a new client would come to me with their ad.
And I found out they had copied it from their opposition yet had no idea if it had worked or not, but they liked how it looked. 😄😄😄
My second business coach once told me, STOP worrying about what those others are doing. Do you and do it better!
So yes, know who your opposition are, look at what they offer, know how much they charge, and then get on with doing your own thing. 😍😍
You cannot base your business around what someone else is doing. That is not being a business owner.
Be a leader, not a follower. 🤩🤩🤩
Have you even asked your prospective clients what they are having issues with?
It might have changed since you started. Lots of things have changed in the last 2 years.
I have a cool, interactive way of asking the questions I want and finding out what they need. I use a Quiz as I find it less intrusive for people, and more interesting than just a page of questions. 🙄☺☺
And by asking the questions, you get to future-proof your business and be the leader, knowing that you are giving your clients what they want.
And why?
Because they told you.

Are you looking after your clients and potential clients? 🤔

I mean, really looking after them, so they won't go elsewhere and only deal with you.

We have all heard the story, it takes 5 times more energy and costs to find a new client than to keep the ones you have happy.

Let me share a story from my past business on keeping clients happy, and I can talk with conviction as I had clients stay with me for 12 years, and in the media realm that is normally a hard task.
So here are some of my rules I live by...

1) You do not own a client, they stay with you because you give them great service and results. If not, they walk.

2) Every day, your clients are seeing other messages, and are being hounded by others to do business with them.

Make sure you treat them like they are a fresh new person, with enthusiasm tell them about your other clients wins and make them feel special. 😍

3) Do something out of the ordinary for them. Nothing like a "Hey, I was just thinking of you and wanted to give you this"

With my magazine, I would give $100 dinner vouchers, so they could take their partner out to dinner and have a nice time, rather than a discount of their bill. No discount add value.

4) Hey, as a loyal long term customer, I am going to give you... an extra service or something to help their business.

This I used if I had heard that they had a bad month or not happy with something. It saves a client from walking.

5) Every month I took my customers out to breakfast I have a guest speaker, and we talked business. Now as we are mainly online and dealing with people all over the world that can be difficult.

But the idea was that most of my clients I never got to see, so by doing breakfast I could meet and hang out, and they could meet and talk with other advertises.

I also used it as a soft sales piece by inviting a prospective customer to breakfast to meet my happy clients and I had a 100% success of getting a new customer for the sake of a $12 meal, no selling involved. ❤️

So maybe you could do a big Zoom session with a guest speaker and get everyone together to just have an informal chat. Better still find out their fav restaurant and send them a voucher.

When things got tough in the Global Financial Crisis, I lost some customers, can you guess which ones?

The ones I did not have the personal experience with, I had clients that I emailed and phoned and never met, I never built a relationship with.

The others knew my wife and son, and we had a connection.
They supported us and helped us to go through the GFC. 😀
