LAST DAY

4/12/22

wow we have been busy since we got back - completely forgot to do this days post!

Breakfast- the amazing breaky we miss so very much 😍

We spent what we had left of our trip exploring Airlie for the last time and we got a sneaky tattoo too 🫢

Lunch - delicious cheesy garlic bread, sliders and milkshakes.

Sat by the pool and enjoyed our last few hours before we were picked up by .com.au 😊

Our flight was at 5:45pm so we grabbed a bite to eat at the airport and headed home 🏡

We had the most amazing time, it was a trip to remember that’s for sure 😍

FULL DAY FIVE

Breakfast: Mantra Club Croc - early breaky before we went on the ferry!

We headed to the Coral Sea Marina via taxi this morning as we needed to be at the Port of Airlie at 7am for our ferry to Hamilton Island!

We headed to Hamilton Island Wildlife once we arrived, had a koala encounter with Billy and got some lovely photos! 🐨

We then headed to the buggy building and picked up our buggy we had reserved for 4 hours. We took a big look around the island and saw the beautiful sights of Hamilton 😍

Lunch: we headed to the resort at Hamilton Island and had some sweet potato chips, and then bakery for a pie and sausage roll

Dinner: We got the ferry back into Airlie Beach and planned to try a noodle place but they were closed so we headed back to the resort and got dinner in our room while we watched tv and relaxed 😋

Tomorrow we get picked up at 7:55am for our snorkelling day so it’s another early get up for us! ☀️🤿💕

FULL DAY FOUR

1/12/22

Breakfast: Mantra Club Croc - pancakes this morning!! 😍

Took the bus into Airlie Beach central again and enjoyed a little walk around, then headed to the Fat Frog Beach Cafe - enjoying some chippies and choc milkshake!

Lunch: kinda had the chips for lunch plus some mango by the pool after a lovely swim 😊

Dinner: we headed into central alittle earlier tonight so we could have some drinks with our dinner and not rush ourselves. We headed to Mika Airlie which was AMAZING! We got some halloumi chips, chicken tenders and some arancini balls to share for an entree which tasted so yummy, a bbq beef burrito bowl to share and a tropical frozen daiquiri 🍸

After dinner we went for a walk around Airlie and saw the new Christmas tree that had be put up - happy December 1st everyone!

It was $3 scoops at Gelatissimo so we had some icecream to share for dessert!

Tomorrow we head to Hamilton Island so it’s an early get up for us! ☀️🐨

FULL DAY THREE

30/11/22

Breakfast: Mantra Club Croc - yummmmy 😝

Took the bus into the Whitsunday Plaza and had a little look round Big W (of course we find the shops while on holiday😂) ,the chemist and got a choccy milkshake Luv A Coffee, Airlie Beach QLD

We then headed the other way into Airlie central, looking at more shops and just enjoying the day as it was alittle cooler, however still muggy 🥵 We enjoyed some gelato to share from Gelatissimo and then caught the bus back!

Lunch: headed back to the resort for a little rest and some lunch by the pool and a few cocktails 🍸 such a nice way to break up the day 🙌🏻

Dinner: as we started to walk to the bus stop it decided to 🌧, so we waited for a taxi and made our way to Fish D'vine. Josh got some calamari as a starter and I got some pork belly bao buns which were to die for 😍 Josh had the raspberry LCR cocktail and the barramundi dish for main, and I had the passion punch cocktail and the salmon for main. These meals were amazing, on the pricy side compared to normal restaurants/taverns etc but well worth the money!

We now lay in bed back in the room, with belly’s bigger than you can imagine and very sleepy eyes. Last ‘rest’ day tomorrow then the activities begin again on Friday 🚤 🐨 🤿…

FULL DAY TWO

29/11/22

Breakfast: Mantra Club Croc which was delicious 🥰

Had a slow morning today as we had our Jet Ski tour from 12pm-4pm

Got picked up at 11:45am by the Whitsunday Jetski Tours and headed to the office to check in and complete the safety chat. I (Ella) had never been on a JetSki before but Josh had, so we headed out to Daydream Island and South Molle. We captured abit of footage which we will upload soon, however the water was SO choppy. Josh rode there, and we swapped halfway and I (Ella) drove back…. and flipped the Jet Ski about 300/400 metres away from the end 😂 it was an amazing experience but neither of us will make a professional career in Jet Ski riding 🤪

Lunch: few snacks and a drink to cool us down around 4pm once we arrived back to the hotel, quick dip in the pool and a little rest 😴

Dinner: Set our alarm to wake up for dinner (accidently did 6am instead of pm whoops) so we just headed to the Chinese next door to us Tasty Chinese Restaurant which was SO delicious- chicken chow mein, honey chicken and spring rolls

Looking forward to a day of exploring tomorrow, but for now we rest 😊😊

FULL DAY ONE

28/11/22

Breakfast: Mantra Club Croc which is included in our stay! Delicious hot + cold options, sweets and drinks to choose from!

Walk through Airlie Central, took a swim in the Lagoon which was amazing on such a hot day ☀️

Lunch: Airlie Beach Treehouse we got waffle fries with aioli and a mini cob loaf, alongside an iced choc and a caramel milkshake to cool us down!

Took a walk to the local Woolworths to stock up on some items and snackies, and headed back to the hotel for a little rest before getting ready to head back out

Dinner: Airlie Beach Hotel ‘THE PUB’, we got a garlic cheesy bacon bread and shared a calamari and chips with came with access to the full buffet and dessert!

Now we are back at the hotel after a busy day, very full, sunburned (yes we did apply sun cream!!!!) and ready for tomorrow 🙌🏻

We have arrived at Prosperpine via Jetstar Australia and on route to Mantra Club Croc using the Heart of Reef Shuttles Whitsundays shuttle bus which is located next to the baggage claim making it easy to locate and such a quick process!
We cannot wait to post what we do, what we love and everything in between! 😝
