We would like to thank all our amazing clients for a fabulous year!

It’s been a year of campaigns, educational resources and a couple of documentaries.

Each reaching its audiences. The feedback of impact, we’ve heard from some, is what we were aiming for! Winning!

Thank you for trusting us to tell your story or share your message.

We are steadfast on working with charities, not-for-profits and social enterprises. Why? Because they help people and or the planet, and we love that!

Thank you to a great crew (when we have the budget!) and to the old crew who continue to cheer us on…. And help out with gear.

As the year approaches to some downtime and rejuvenating we hope you all can have this too!

We look forward to banging the drum a whole lot more in 2024!

On Saturday night we were excited to be part of Opening Night for Whitney Lee Prints photography exhibition Displaced Perspective.

In 2019 Whitney travelled to South Sudan with Little Drum's - Jude Kalman and Nine News Europe Correspondent Carrie-Anne Greenbank, capturing the images and stories.

At opening night we also had the privilege of hearing from Nyabuna a South Sudanese / Australian woman who moved here 20 years ago.

Her story, despite hardship was both joyful and insightful. Her heroes are the women of South Sudan and Sudan. Women who have had the courage and tenacity to do what needs to be done for their families - like move countries, learn new languages, endure racism, work hard to care for and give opportunity for their families.

If you would like to view Displaced Perspective please visit Millers Espresso - the exhibition is there until the July 1.

We are super excited to part of this exhibition currently in pre-production! Looking forward to sharing this story! Stay tuned : )

‘Moving Mountains’ is an exciting and inspiring exhibition to celebrate, showcase, and record the eleven year social history surrounding the successful anti coal and gas protest actions of community group Keep the Scenic Rim Scenic.

Thanks to community working together using dynamic, creative, and spirited forms of protest such as Protestors on Peaks, where banners were dropped from mountains and signs created in pastures, and the Kerry Blockade where one brave young man climbed the drill rig and many locals faced arrest. These actions were undertaken with goodwill and determination to protect the Scenic Rim and ensure the region would remain coal and gas free.

But it’s not hard to reimagine how different the Scenic Rim might look now if the planned open cut coal mines near Boonah had gone ahead, and if networks of gas wells were criss-crossed over our farmland.

The success of keeping this region coal and gas free through the protest actions of Keep the Scenic Rim Scenic has had a flow on effect, and the Scenic Rim can now boast recognition on the world stage because of our burgeoning eco and rural tourism industries, the production and presentation of high-quality produce, and our townships under revitalisation.

Other communities joined us in our fight, and we joined them in theirs. This inspiring history of connected communities supporting one another was a true David and Goliath style victory, and living proof that communities standing up and speaking out together can literally move mountains!

Community protected farmland, environment and scenic amenity and this exhibition will tell that story and celebrate our regions unique coal and gas free status at the one-year anniversary of all gas leases being revoked in June 2022.

This exhibition will educate and entertain by telling many of these colourful stories together for the first time, and ensure that the actions of community to protect the Scenic Rim will not be forgotten.

The exhibition will run at The Centre 100 Brisbane St Beaudesert 17 June - 2 September 2023 - and now extended to 14 October 2023 !!

Great article for charities, nfps and social enterprises interested in using production; storytelling, graphic design, photography, video, animation - long or short for social impact!

“We’ve just learned from COVID that you can tell people pure facts and statistics until you’re blue in the face, [but] the thing they’ll actually remember is a meme, an urban myth, or a juicy anecdote." Felicity Blake.

Impact films are claiming their stake of the social sector, competing for the same funding, platforms and partnerships, but industry leaders say it offers “immense potential” for not for profits.

On the road with Global Care Australia this week, they say it’s about mates helping mates and it sure is.

So cool to be travelling up to Childers, QLD meeting and filming all kinds of mates along the way!

Cassie is from Kempsey, NSW; we filmed her story earlier this year.
