Not so bad for a super dead day, spent hrs looking for fish and nothing, really really quiet day… on the way back stopped at a very common spot and also no fish there, but of that spot, 50m to the east it was marking really good on the sounder, went in to check on it and Got a couple yellow tail kingfish and missed some much better fish 😂🤦🏽♂️🤓 love it 😂🫶🏽

🤯 Can’t Believe I caught this Fish 🐟
My first Cubera (Caranha) 🔥🔥
“ Getting to the bottom to turn to see 3 Cubera coming to check me out was insane, to keep my cool and try to get them in range for my 90cm roller was a challenge…”
“I have never used this technic before but it sure works, always told me, if you see Jacks or Cubera and they ain’t coming in close, hide in a cave and they will come to check you out, I had no cave to hide but I surely had a massive thermo misty dusty water to back up into and hide to get the curiosity of this Cubera to come in close enough for a very back shot of mine with my custom 90cm roller 😂🤦🏽♂️ I am so lucky to land this fish.
Such a hard fish to find in South Brazil, they are around but very very shy. I just needed a day that a could dive deeper, as conditions here are tricky with massive layers of dust water and unable to dive below 12 15m. To get a day to dive deeper was amazing, and the fish I have seen was incredible.
I came to Brazil with a few fish in my bucket list and I have ticket of the hardest in my opinion, the Grouper is in close season atm but I know where they are and some big ones too. So I will smack one as soon as the season opens 🔥🔥
