🔥 The Fastest fish in the ocean 🐟
And the biggest fish I have ever shot…. To this day.
“This happened quite a few months ago, and myself as an over thinker I didn’t feel good about sharing it straight away, the beauty of this fish and the power amazed me. And for being a fish very admired by angles and sport fisherman women, I thought maybe I would leave this one out of my feed, butttttt….. I must share the story and the experience” all the fish was consumed and appreciated by the 5 crew members of the boat, their family and friend, no one complain about the quality of the meat or anything like that,
It was a good fish to eat!
Story time….
30m+ vis on a amazing day, we diving this ledge where has seen some good fish, and out of nowhere this beast swims right in front of me, with a quick reaction i duck and shot it right behind the head, missing the stone shot 🤦🏽♂️ but very close to it, didn’t have time to turn the go pro on. Got a muzzle wrap, and was getting dragged by this thing so hard underwater, i was very calm. I couldn’t reach my belt reel because it was so strong and I had to hold on to the speargun with both hands. At some stage I realised I had to go up, so I quickly took the line reel out of the reel, and swam up letting the gun go but still having the reel line to hold on to….
The shot hurt the fish good, it gone hard and stopped and turn around towards me, it felt like I had to dodge it not getting speared by a fish I just speared.
It done that 3x, gone hard… and turned around…. At one stage another sail fish showed up even bigger to have a look at the commotion and with it a few sharks, but funny enough no sharks wanted anything to do with it either, and I called for help. second shots my fish and brings it up, it’s a mess, line everywhere, I am exhausted. I had 4 competent and amazing dive buddy’s that day on the water and that made me confident to take that shot. Out of all the marlins that one was in my bucket list 🫶🏽 thank you.
And we found James gun 😂 ran out of room here
