My story...
Born and bread in Switzerland, I have moved to Australia for love exactly 10 Years ago. Since travelling was always one of my passions, I didn’t think twice to attend the wedding of one of my best friends in Fiji back in 2007. Little did I know at the time, that I was going to meet my Love of my life and future Husband Kaine.
We had a wonderful 10 years together with many ups and downs due to Kaine’s very unfortunate luck with health. He was dealing with cancer for nearly the 10 years we have been together and was finally taken away from us in September 2018. My world crumbled, I lost everything....my love of my life, my soulmate, my best friend and the life we shared together. After Kaine’s passing I didn’t think life would go on for me anymore, I was done with it...There was nothing on this planet that sparked my passion for life anymore. Our common business and passion we had together was tumbling over too....I had to start liquidating our beloved camper trailer Business, that gave us a purpose every day to get up and get going. We both loved the outdoors, camping and nature! How would I ever want to do anything fun again without my Kaine. How was I meant to find fulfilment in an every day job again, would I just have to settle for “ordinary” now? Many months passed and life somehow kept on going for me....for some reason, we keep getting up every morning and put one step in front of the other feet. Every day feels like we lost our other half or leg just one day ago. But somehow we still slowly we get back into every day life routine, we start to learn to slowly accept the circumstances we didn’t want to be in and we think we owe it to our loved ones, to start to try to enjoy the one precious life again that we are given. Kaine wasn’t done with life, he loved it to the fullest and would have given everything to keep going. He was still so full of life, ideas, plans, visions, passions and dreams! One day late last year I came across an ad on Facebook, that sparked something in me...an idea was born! I believe I was meant to see it, since most stuff just rained off on me since my Love of my life passed away. Nothing excited me anymore and I was afraid to have to look into going back to a boring office job. But this ad showed someone that meanwhile have become my friends, just talking about their lifestyle business that they have built up and how they can help others through their own experience, to discover the digital lifestyle options out there. I still believe to the day, that was another little sign from my beloved Kaine in spirits, to keep going and enjoying my part of this life and start a new adventure. Our dream was always to be able to live half in Australia and half in Switzerland, so we could share both our families and friends on two different continents. Building a Lifestyle Business, where I could work from anywhere in the world at anytime I need and want, would give me the option to fulfil this dream finally for both of us. The idea of Takeoff Living was born, I was ready to learn to fly again and to embrace new challenges and learn new skills! No longer was I willing to just settle for the ordinary...I am aware that I need a passion again. I was interested to learn more about the digital online work space and how I can change the way I earn my income.
After I stumbled across that Facebook add I mentioned earlier, with the opportunity to attend a free workshop, that looked like it might lead me in the right direction to learn more about digital marketing, I soon realised that this was the company we wanted to align with.
I went on to do further paid training with the same company and now building up my own online digital business, learning while earning already! The biggest impact Kaine had on me was, he got up every morning with all his pains and aches, never complained just followed his dream to build his camper trailers that would lead into a business one day that will offer us abundance and freedom. He never settled for ordinary, not even on his last day! So keep up living your best life people, give new things a go, don’t be afraid to try new roads and pathways in your life!
