Wow….. not sure why this feels a little awkward 🤣😜

I’m a little late to the party to share, as I wasn’t sure what say, I can only guess it’s because of all the incredible gowns I have been spotted in (ode to Sonia Stradiotto Couture) that put me in the spotlight to have been nominated, then actually become a FINALIST as “Woman of the Year” from BEAM AWARDS.

Although I’d hope that after my imposter syndrome calms the farm, maybe I’ll believe it that I have made a little impact through empowering women, having a voice, creating opportunities, and having integrity in business… I’m hoping that’s what got me nominated anyway 🙈

Either way, I’m super humbled, shocked and proud to have been listed as a finalist.

Thank you to whomever it was that thought I was capable or deserving of this title, I’ll shout you a bottle of champagne if you come forward and confess it was you 🤣

Thank you for all that you do to encourage women (and men) in business and facilitating such a great awards platform, looking forward to the night!

Grateful for all the opportunities that keep coming my way to be a voice for supporting women and empowering them to become their best versions and chase their dreams.

Levelling up today to raise the “bar” on all things e-commerce and retail.

My entire business strategy is to build an ecosystem that not only supports all the businesses collectively together, but also supports women in business.

I have consciously built PASK MEDIA to service retail and fashion brands, I consciously partnered and invested into Australian.Fashion to support the fashion industry with runways and events and to expand Paskmedia into other markets, and lastly I am building Barr Body Swim to support the Australian fashion and production chain to keep things local and support women with bodysuits and swimwear that makes them feel empowered.

But building brands is easy, it’s keeping up with skill sets to keep your finger on the pulse and your “hands on the tools” as from Culture Kings perfectly put it, that’s where the real work comes in.

The more I learn, the more I can give back and offer to other women that take the risk of chasing their own dreams and making sh*t happen, because one thing I know in life, nobody is going to save you, you need to chase that dream yourself and constantly level up.

Surrounding myself with people that have walked the walk before me and built empires, is exactly where I need to be 🖤

I’m feeling like a fkn BOSS and I’m not afraid to say it.

With so many years and tears of slogging it out and things feeling hard…. I’m now entering season 2 of my life.

42 and proud.

With my businesses, career, network, and life literally exploding, I’m feeling more alive than ever, more in flow than ever. Even though I may be working around the clock, it feels like the weeks are passing with ease and with every day a new opportunity literally opens.

Miracles are happening, everything I’ve ever dreamt of and put into action is unfolding with grace and flow, and I feel like I can unashamedly say I bloody deserve this feeling.

I put so much in for so many people, I have worked under my value for so long, I doubted myself, I let others take me off course……

But something clicked and shifted last year, every step I made was towards setting up 2024 to be “The Year”.., I consciously set up backend, more models, more networks, more resources, more connections, all with a knowing that things would move fast when they started.

But wholly sh*t I didn’t predict this fast.

is exploding with media campaigns, promo work and fashion events.
fashion is booming ahead and hitting milestones.
body.swim has gone viral before it’s even launched, and daily I’m getting opportunities out of nowhere to keep pushing me forward and off the cliff.

It’s a serious pinch myself moment.., I’m so f*king proud of the woman and boss I have become, serving so many, providing opportunities to many, and creating new communities of likeminded women supporting women……. Wow.., who could have thought bringing a product that the market needed in alignment with an unpredicted viral campaign would have delivered this.

With all my moving parts daily, there’s no stress, there’s just flow and insane productivity!

Us women are amazing when we start believing in ourselves !!! Don’t ever doubt yourself 🖤🍑🌶️

Never in even my wildest dreams did I think this momentum in my life would be happening like it is.

Can you help me.. read to the end if you are keen to know how …..

I committed to going all in this year, and I’m very realistic, not everything will go as planned, thankfully flexibility and rolling with the punches is ingrained in me now…. But wow, a week out of launching Barr Body Swim my workload is exploding… due to other projects popping in that I didn’t foresee… and I’m never one to say no to opportunities, so as they say “make hay while the sun shines” ….. ☀️

With 2 runway showcases now on the list… for .body.swim and Australian.Fashion

Wholesale and large national marketing opportunities….

A whopping campaign landing into PASK MEDIA

End of year projects now needing attention…

Our Pask models schedule heating up for product and brand activations…

I am so used to juggling it all, but also very cautious not to burn out like I have in the past.

Ontop of being a mum, running the house, cooking dinner, I’m quickly realising I need some help, and that for me is HARD as I control everything in my life and keep my businesses very close and tight these days, I trust very few people, and I struggle to let them into my businesses………

Which leads me to, asking for some advice…… and lols, even writing that stings as I realise I can’t do it all 🤣

To ensure I get my return on investment and understanding that I don’t have time luxury to train somebody on the little nuances across all business… what are 2-3 things you would look for if you were in my position?

I need resource of hands on deck to scale, I don’t need a remote VA at this stage, I need another ME !!

I need an all rounder that can create content, work in my files, schedule socials, light image edits, website updates, photoshoot planning.

I need somebody that is willing to start as casual contractor and grow with performance and ROI.

I don’t want to use any agencies, I’d rather find a superstar that can grow with us!

Any advice from those that have been in this same tight position before would be appreciated!

This is one space I can’t make a mistake!

Well that certainly escalated, our voice representing women to have the freedom of choice with beachwear has gone viral... With media stories grabing hold, we are esnuring our message is strong.

The real conversation here is around not trying to blanket ban skimpy bikinis from what started as at the beach, but Ol' Ian G has bitten back its actually around supermarkets and p***c places he has the issue with (which doesn't align with his first response of having the issue after he realised the womans bottom he was looking at (code for perve) ended up being his barista which made him feel uncomfortable, he decided a blanket ban was appropriate, go figure.

NOW.. worth mentioning we love that good Mayor Tom TR Tate dismissed this notion, well done and thank you for standing up for the absurdity!

Isn't the conversation supoosed to be more around shopping centres or restaurants having more suitable dress codes, if it's good enough to stop a tattood guy going to the Burleigh Pavillion, why not enforce a decency dress code in shopping centres?

ALTHOUGH, what get's my goat, is where is freedom of choice here? Are we stuck back in the time of the introduction of bikinis and the 50's?

Isn't it a parents responsibility to educate their young daughters what's deemed appriopriate?

But let's keep the Gold Coast beaches out of this!

What a woman wants to wear as beach wear is up to her, what a MAN wants to wear is up to him... FULL STOP.

Whether people like g-strings, cheeky bums or fuller bums it's irrelevant as its up to the individuals choice to make!

I decided to take the plunge and design a swim range that caters for the woman that likes a little cheek, hence why I am passionate about this subject as my goal is to always support women, without judgement, shaming or other.. and Ian's comment around "demeaning and cheapening themselves' is a comment that should be in the past.

So what am I doing about this?

We were so humbled to have recently been at the Women In Sport Summit. Listening to all the game changers and changer makers leading the way to build the platforms and foundations for women in sport.

With so much activity happening and going in the right direction supporting women in sport it was such a positive event and experience.

Hearing from some of the greatest leaders and athletes like and were absolute highlights.

And the robust panelist discussions with delivering the important message of government support.

Along with one of our personal favourites from and her international team of speakers, the commitment they all showed to supporting and growing women’s profiles, mental health, resources and foundations was nothing short of admirable.
