It was standing room only in the last council meeting in chambers on Tuesday as residents showed up in force to hear the result of Gladstone Region Councillor, Kahn Goodluck’s motion to reintroduce fluoride into the region’s water supply.
There has been a renewed push coming from the Australian Medical Association (AMA) of Queensland, in conjunction with the Australian Dental Association of Queensland calling for water fluoridation to be mandated across the state.

Around 12.45am police intercepted a vehicle on Oaka Street and a search warrant was executed.
During the search, police allegedly located a taser, handgun, gel blaster parts, ammunition, a quantity of methamphetamines and drug utensils.
