Earlier:
An earlier car crash in Dubbo's Erskine Strret has taken down power lines.

Essential energy estimate power to be restored around 7.30am this morning, as crews work hard to repair the damaged equipment and re-erect the power lines.

This power outage has also impacted 2DU's local breakfast broadcast.
