Congratulations to “Times” contributor, Blake Lee on his well deserved “Buloke Shire Young Citizen of the Year” award.

Blake received his award last night at the dinner ceremony which also recognised Trevor Emonson (Citizen of the Year) and Buloke Collectable Vehicle Club (Event of the Year - ‘Show and Shine’). Worthy winners all.

It's the end of an era, as "Times" stalwart, Shane O'Shea retires this afternoon, after 51 years at the Buloke Times.
Shane began working for the "Times" in January 1972, contributing hundreds of football previews, news reports and photographs (some award winning) over the years.
