Create & Cast is run by Producer Director Mike Worsley offering Content creation and expert Casting services. Whether it’s providing the ideas and development for a project, or covering the entire production process from concept to screen, we approach everything with pride, energy and creative flair. Since 2015, Create & Cast has been commissioned to make several original productions including a p

rime time comedy special, global TV commercials, branded content, and a Time Out Award nominated live stream entertainment series, funded by The City of Sydney. We have also helped make content and live broadcasts for clients including MTV, Universal Pictures, Instagram, Woolworths, Fitness First, N**e by Nature, Apple Music, Telstra, Sony Music and ARIA. We work with larger international Production Companies including ZigZag TV (Sydney), The Imagine Group (Singapore), The Connected Set and Appeal TV (London). We offer expect casting services and believe we can cast to any brief, for any project – and our team has a very successful track record casting some of the biggest shows and commercials on television including ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ (Nine) – scouting the winning act – plus finalists on ‘Australian Ninja Warrior’ (Nine), ‘All Together Now’ (Channel 7) and ‘The Voice’ (Nine). We work with a growing roster of dynamic and experienced industry pros including Directors, Producers, Designers and On-screen Talent from across Australia, Europe, Asia the UK who all share a passion and drive to creating innovative and high quality content.

Our Story

Create & Cast was set up by Producer Director Mike Worsley in 2015, and has helped create content and live broadcasts for larger production companies and clients including MTV, Universal Pictures, Instagram, Woolworths, Fitness First, N**e by Nature, Apple Music, Telstra, Sony Music and the ARIA Awards. Mike is a highly experienced Producer Director having worked in the industry for more than 17 years on over 70 productions including some of the most successful and highest rating entertainment shows on British and Australian television. Mike emigrated to Australia in 2014 after finishing several years work at ITV Studios in London on the team behind the multiple BAFTA award winning series "Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway" and spin-off national arena show "Takeaway On Tour". Mike has also produced ITV’s biggest annual commercial marketing showcase event, the award-winning “Upfronts”, on behalf of ITV’s Director Of Television and has worked on more than 50 other television productions for BBC One, BBC THREE, Channel 4, E4, FIVE and Sky One.

In Australia, Mike has worked with Fremantle Media, Warner Bros, ITV and Endemol Shine Australia on various large scale studio productions including ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ (Nine), ‘Australian Ninja Warrior’ (Nine), Australia’s Next Top Model (Foxtel), All Together Now (Channel 7), ‘Game of Games’ (Network Ten) and most recently ‘The Voice’ (Nine). With Create & Cast, Mike and his growing freelance team have provided services as Producer and Casting Director on Jamie Oliver’s nationwide Woolworths TVC, ‘Created with Jamie’, and Fitness First’s international TVC/reality series ‘Fit For Fashion’ based in Singapore. Create & Cast are developing and pitching new content formats and ideas, and have ongoing projects including Music Video production, content for apps and a variety of online video content from concept to screen for major Australian retailers. We also offer expect Casting services and believe we can cast to any brief, for any project - with a very successful track record.

We recently assisted production of the Australian shoots for MTV’s Geordie Shore spin-off series, and fitness lifestyle videos for MTV Fit’s Instagram account. We also Directed and co-Produced the Pitch Perfect 3 Australian Premiere Red Carpet live stream. We’ve made content for clients include MTV, Universal Pictures, Instagram, Woolworths, Fitness First, N**e by Nature, Apple Music, Telstra, Sony Music and ARIA. We work under larger international Production Companies including ZigZag TV (Sydney), The Imagine Group (Singapore), The Connected Set and Appeal TV (London).

After volunteering and filming highlights at the “Mardi Gras Film Festival 2016″ Mike was invited to join Q***r Screen as a Board Associate to assist and work on future festivals over the years including Q***r Screen’s 25th Anniversary coverage in 2018.
