Hello. I am seeking advice on decorating the wall between my living room and dining room. My goal is for it to serve as a visual divider between the two areas while also promoting a sense of continuity. Given its prominent location near the front door and entrance, I would like to add some decorative elements. I would appreciate any suggestions or ideas.

Help with paint color please. Just had my counters installed & honestly thought they were more white in the stone yard. I’m looking for something that will go with the wood & counters. They are grayish with green veining. I was originally thinking of a creamy or beige white but now I’m-questioning my decision….i would like to carry the color throughout the house. I’ve used alabaster in the bedrooms & don’t love as it pulls yellow! Hubby wants stark white Ugg! Tia pics would be helpful!

Our home was built in 2000, this is the trim throughout the main floor.

We are looking to sell and the realtors are suggesting to paint it all white. We agree white would be nicer but I am also looking for other suggestions…it would be a huge undertaking and I am also worried about white trim having a big contrast to our kitchen and light hardwood floors(neither would be changed).

I also included our large sliding doors…would you paint these white?
They are amazing quality so it feels a shame to paint them

Hi all! I have an entry way I'm hoping to make more enticing. What would you do with this space? Add a mirror? Paint it the same color as the dining room to add an accent wall? The whole main level is the same color other than the dinning room which is a lighy blue. I need the kids coat area to stay but still make it nicer looking.

I Finally did it!! I bought a sectional. It’s a bit big for the space tho😩. I bought it off of Wayfair. I was scared buying sight unseen. I’m satisfied. I did put new 5inch legs on it. This new furniture is so low🤷🏽‍♂️. Don’t mind the ottoman. I previously purchased that off Wayfair and it’s the same material but different shades of beige or cream. I’m not getting rid of it 🤣

This bathroom tile ended up being rough rather than a smooth finish. We saw it in a model and selected the same without touching, feeling, seeing the tile close up. Is there something I can put on it to make it smooth? It’s not important to be slip proof because it’s just a mudroom bathroom that nobody will be showering in. The problem I have is that every bit of dirt and debris collects and cannot be easily swept from the rough surface.
