Monday Oct 2nd..

my alter-ego is monitoring this board..
Should be monitoring the Rain RADAR.. but no El Nino says you no chase storms you get no rain.
Thankfully most of those "Vegetation Fire" icons are monitored events.. that is the fire is under control ..
In the space of 15 minutes this morning 2 fires were reported, 1st at Bowenville, a grass fire, then not even a full 15mins later another fire reported at Geham on the New England highway.
I hate fires.. they cause damage they are unforgiving and in the wrong place will take days to deal with. A storm, blows through an area, and is gone in an hour or so.
While many blame climate change, many fires do not start on their own--little minds with matches do, or careless operation of equipment, the climate just provides the fuel.. and lack of water. (and yes lighting can start some fires - but we need some storms for that to happen :P )
