Inaaya and Manahil help me around the house. It makes my life not just easier but also fun. Lots of conversations and learning.
Dusting, putting dishes away, making cereals, putting yummy toppings on pizza, help in baking, fetching water or mobile etc, putting their laundry where it belongs, arranging their toys and wardrobes....plus many more tasks.
I am surprised how much children can accomplish from a young age. Basic life skills should be taught regardless of gender.

Quick Tiramisu fix which definitely tastes way better. I just used soft sponge cake, coffee n water mixture, mascarporne and thickened cream mix to do my layers. Topped it with coco powder n viola, ur quick fix for that sweet tooth.

Cooking is a basic human skill, which should be taught to every kid regardless of their gender. My minions learned to make a basic pizza today and I made them write the steps later, so they can have their own mini recipe book❤

You always leave a piece of you in your old home...i admit I sometimes like to go back n park the car across the road, stare at it and relive those memories ❤ the trees my daughter loved to climb, the plants we pruned and just simply how the beautiful sun would cast it's shadows in evening...

Those closer to me know that Parenting is a Hobby to me not a Duty. Having picnics with them, exploring and teaching them about adventures of this beautiful, crazy, amazing world is what I live for.

So lucky my kids reciprocate my passion by making me proud always. I feel like I'm raising myself all over again, the way I wanted. How Effing amazing is that? Blown away by the joy it brings and gosh sooooo sooo grateful.

I am also a firm believer of the fact that all women are not born to be mothers. Not every woman enjoys or wants it. Be more accepting of their choices. An unhappy person can not give a kid a happy childhood. Let them choose their kind of high. Freedom of choice is beautiful.

Since many of you asked for my version of meethi tikyaan recipe.

So here it is:
4 cups flour (maida)
1cup semolina (sooji)
Half cup coconut
2 cups sugar
Half cup ghee
4Tsp sesame seeds (til)
1cup warm milk
1tsp cardamom powder

Knead it all together without adding anymore milk or water. It will be a thick cookie dough.
Using a rolling pin flatten out to desired thickness n cut circles or any shape you like.

Most importantly make sure your frying oil is not very hot, once it's hot, lower the flame and quickly fry the batches. It will get darken in seconds so make sure you keep turning.
All ready to devour🌙🤲❤😘

Alhamdulillah Inaaya(7) completed her first Roza(fast) today.
Kids can surprise you at times. They really can do more than we think they are capable of ❤

May Allah keep you steadfast on Eemaan and may you always be the kindest, generous and forgiving loving heart that you naturally are❤
Thankyou we were able to get her favourite kebabs from -Tanoor-Iraqi-Restaurant and her favourite Tiramisu from Cannoli Bar

If your child can't read they can listen to the stories with beautiful illustrations. If your child can read they have quiz at the end of the story to evaluate what your child has understood.
