NAIDOC Week - Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud.
Very hounded to again capture the NAIDOC Jersey for
The jumper was designed with input from several senior Indigenous players including Kim Kantilla, Lawrence Evans, Eric Benning and Anthony Treacy (Kimberly and Tiwi Islands)
The design depicts the players coming together at Claremont from various locations around the state and
shows the support and bonding provided at CFC.
The hunting theme mirrors the competition between Claremont and the other teams in the WAFL.
The small design on the back has a Tiwi flavour with the spears representing the battle players enter against oppos ion teams.
The armband and feathers give players strength to compete.
The circle in the centre (Milimika) is the clearing ground similar to the oval where the players do
battle.
