Well, after running out of “The Sheepdog who was Afraid of Sheep” a couple of weeks ago (fortunately only for a few days, with plenty now in stock), supplies of “The Sheepdog who got Lost in the Hills” are also running low. But never fear, more are on the way so if they do have to go on preorder, it should only be for a couple of days. I’m getting all orders out as quickly as possible (usually within 1-2 business days of orders being placed) so they will still arrive before Christmas. Thank you to everyone that has ordered so far, I am so appreciative. And I’ve had some beautiful reviews come through on the website too, so thank you so much to those wonderful people. (I do realise that many of the books being purchased right now are Christmas gifts, so I understand that reviews will need to wait until after Christmas). Hope everyone is staying sane at this crazy-busy time of year!

So, orders have been going AMAZINGLY! Thank you everyone!

Unfortunately, as a result, I’ve been temporarily left a teeny bit short of “The Sheepdog who was Afraid of Sheep” 😩 I have switched the website entry for this book (and the Combo) to Preorder, but please rest assured that it won’t be long before they are in the post. I expect them to arrive by the end of next week (22nd November), and so any preorders should be in the mail on Monday 25th November. Thanks for your understanding!

This magnificent creature turns 13 years old today. We’ve been through a lot together - multiple house moves, transitioning from city to country dwellers, competing in obedience, agility and yard dog trials, marriage, children and everything in between! I haven’t always been able to give him the time and attention he deserves, but despite this he remains as devoted to me as ever, and I just love him to pieces.

On our recent Outback Queensland Adventure, we decided to primarily buy picture books as souveniers of our trip, rather than toys and trinkets (ok, we did buy a few toys… 🙄🤣). So this is the collection of books we brought home, and I’m going to write inside them all that they were purchased during this trip. I think my favourite is probably the Banjo Patterson one, although I’m looking forward to sharing the Origin of Species book with the kids when they’re a little older. Anyway, these lovely books are being added to our already rather large collection (aka joining the disastrous mess of a bookshelf full of kids books that exists in our living room, that shows books extremely well-loved but not at all well-organised 🤣).

After a short burst of markets in September I’m taking a little break, but I am very excited to be heading to this year at the I’ve not been before but it looks like a gorgeous market! Perfect time to get some Christmas shopping done for your nearest and dearest. I’ve lived in the area for 6 years and I’d not heard of it until earlier this year, so help these guys out (did I mention they’re also raising money for Cystic Fibrosis?!) and share share share their event to make it the best event they’ve had yet!

I received this fabulous series of photos of Meitli owned by Alisa K today. Meitli is having some issues with some of her herding trainer Hannah’s sheep, and definitely identifies with Minky 🤣 Thanks so much for sending me the photos Alisa and Hannah - I love them! And thanks Hannah for also sending me ready-made thoughts for Meitli - they made me giggle as they’re so appropriate. Good luck with the sheep Meitli! We believe in you 💕🐾

I’ve been a touch quiet the last week or so and that’s because we’re on an Outback Queensland adventure! If you’ve ordered in the last few days, I expect to post your order tomorrow/Thursday, and then will be back to regular scheduling (and my local post office) next week. Here is my family today at the Australian Age of Dinosaurs in Winton, Queensland! It was a lazy 40 or so degrees! 🥵 But we survived, and it was an amazing place, so add it to your must-visit list! I mean, we got to touch a real dinosaur fossil! And I’m talking a big femur, not a teeny tiny something! Incredible! And of course I may have bought a book or 4… They’re for the kids! Honest!

We’re away on an Outback Queensland adventure right now, but I brought a few books with me in case I had any orders come in (which happens more regularly since I started to advertise - who would’ve thought?! 😂). The most valuble lesson I’ve learnt is to take my shipping label printer with me next time! I had to print today’s labels at the library and they are literally A4 size labels 🤣🤣🤣 So if you’re one of the lovely puchasers in today’s shipment, I apologise for the ridiculously large label on your parcel 😂

Last week, a part of our verandah wall was being painted. Indi was bothering the painters, so she spent the morning inside in her crate (not unusual for her, as that’s where she goes when I go out without her). Anyway, silly me thought that once they’d gone she’d be fine outside. Apparently not 🤦‍♀️ There’s some super cute white paw prints on the decking now too 🐾🤣 You’d think I’d know better but apparently not haha

Another weekend, another market, this time at in Jugiong NSW. If you’re headed up/down the Hume on Saturday, be sure to turn off at Jugiong as you are sure to be AMAZED by how popular it is. I’ve not been to these markets before but I’m excited to be a part of it, as the location is just gorgeous. Hope to see you there!
