Regular fortnightly slot 10pm - 4am THURSDAY -
Broadcast out of Southern FM 88.3, Brighton. Songs about love, songs about tears, songs about work, songs about rocking and rolling. Songs about drinking, whiskey, wine and alleys, songs about hardness and madness. Songs about trouble – love trouble, money trouble, songs about
bad luck, good luck and no luck. Songs about choices, last chances and second chances, songs about storms and high-water and catfish. Songs about what’s Mine and what’s Yours, songs about dogs, songs about bones, songs about Doin’ Right and Doin’ Wrong …
It’s only a radio show, I know, but small things make a difference. And my aim is to create an experience that does, in some small way, add something special to your day. I would love to hear about your ‘Songs of Protest: Blues, Booze & Broads’ experience and will respond personally. Mail me at:

Nardia Brancatisano - Singer/Songwriter, Lead Vocal of the Justin Yap Band weaves a delightful, meandering path through the heady fragrance of blues, soul, gospel, spirituals and feminist insiped rap. We are also developing a 'Women in Blues' performance group to be based in Melbourne. We aim to develop, over the course of 2015, a stage performance (play/show) showcasing the musical history of 'Women in Blues' and in doing so assist local female musical artists to perfect their bluescraft , guide them to publication and broadcast opportunities both locally and regionally, as well as internationally. The goal will be to broadcast the show worldwide - i.e. podcast, YouTube channel, pages, Facebook groups, affiliated business/social media, Community TV and Radio, as well as to submit performance proposals to Network Media and Festivals internationally.
