Vaporwave compilation of the year 2024 🏆

Hi all! Ben Chesler here from Always Open. With 2024 coming to a close, it's the perfect opportunity to reflect and celebrate on the latest developments in vaporwave.

I'm running a little survey to gather the community's thoughts on what music is worth highlighting from the year. With so many features on albums of the year, I thought I'd do a little twist - what have been your favourite compilations from 2024?

Anything vaporwave-adjacent is eligible - future funk, dark ambient, synthwave, dungeon synth... If in doubt, submit it anyway! The idea is to share some of the great music that has been created in the year 2024.

The top releases will be played on the 17 January 2025 edition of Always Open on PBS FM. Submissions close 15 Jan.

I tuned into this excellent event over the weekend - a mammoth vaporwave event raising money for charity and featuring dozens of fantastic artists!
