We began broadcasting in 1991 as Colac Public Radio and our license (3OCR) has expanded to include the Otways and across South West Victoria. The station is manned entirely by volunteers, from presenters right thro

ugh to management. Our programming consists of a variety of specialist music programs such as rock, country, folk and comedy, to information programs, sports and access programs for the print handicapped.

We rely on membership from community members, donations and sponsorship (advertising) from local businesses to assist with the running of the station. We are not a government funded body, but appreciate any grant funding to assist with purchasing new equipment. It won't hurt you to give the gardening a miss tomorrow, or save that long run for another day.

The mercury is set to hit 40°C across much of the state, so stay out of the sun and make a plan to stay cool.

💨 Use air conditioning and fans.

👒 Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen, slap on a hat and slide on those shades.

🌡️ Avoid going out during the hottest part of the day.

🚿 Use a wet towel, put your feet in cool water and take cool showers.

💧 Stay hydrated. If your wee is dark, you’re doing it wrong.

⛔ Skip leg day, that Tan track run, and trimming those bushes – it can wait.

The Colac Growers and Makers Market is held monthly at the Colac Showgrounds, giving you the opportunity to browse and buy from a wide selection of locally grown and produced goods. They're currently taking stallholder bookings for the January - April markets. OCR FM will be providing a sausage sizzle at the next market and can't wait to see you there in the new year.
