Thank you to all those that have been part of Scratch and Bite Studios.
Liberty Studios has taken the bones of Scratch and Bite and is in the process of creating an expanded and enhanced Studio experience for Coffs Harbour and surrounds.
I appreciate the help and understanding of my friends as I recovered from my injuries, including Tim Gibbs from Liberty Studios, and Heather Rose for her continued support.
I am looking forward to all the great music that will come from a reinvigorated Coffs music scene.

As Scratch and Bite Studios enter the final days of providing a creative space for the Coffs Coast, we remind you to get in touch with Liberty Studios for ongoing bookings.
Tim Gibbs and Sharyn Messner will be continuing on with regular bookings, plus adding a range of new and exciting services to grow the local scene.

In search of the Dreamtime

Hello friends, as some of you know, I am starting a new project later this year.

I am hoping to incorporate work from as many of my talented friends and acquaintances as possible.

I have set up a consent form for any of my Musician, Artist, Photographer, Film maker friends who would allow me to use their content.

I will link to all relevant pages for those who contribute their work,

I will be documenting my journeys into the remote, and, not so remote corners of Australia.
My goal is to travel this diverse country we share collecting Video, Stories, Art, Photographs, Music, and all things that make Australia unique.

I will be seeking tales from the past, tales from the present and recollections of locals who have seen the changes occur in their lifetime.

As prepare for this journey, I am aware that I will be training on the job as a film maker, reporter and video producer.

Australia is a big back yard, so I will be looking for the widest spectrum of the outback’s natural beauty.

WOW!

What a year!

Scratch and Bite Studios had a quieter 2020, some juicy recording tidbits keeping us entertained.

2021 will be our final year of capturing the sounds of Coffs Harbours finest musical talents.

If you need any recording services, book early.

At this point it looks as though the Studio might continue under new ownership.

I would like to thank the MANY artists and bands who have rehearsed and recorded at Scratch and Bite Studios for making my time here so bloody unforgettable.

Scratch and Bite Studios will be pumping out sounds until June 2021, rehearsals and recording as per usual, so if you get a chance, drop in and have a chat before things change.

I will be pursuing a different creative path in 2021, that of Documenting some Australian history and tales of unique Australian areas.

I am hoping to get permission to use music, art, photography and video from my many contacts built up during my years working in the industry.

My project is going to focus heavily on Australian Stories, Music, Art and Photography, while exploring the past, present and future of our countries diverse landscape, flora, and fauna.

I will keep posting updates.
