I don’t think I can accurately express how awesome it is to get to work with the legendary crew at 🙌We have collaborated on a few projects over last few years (as in they do all the work and I just get in the way whilst filming them😬) and, although I will miss them in the interim, I also can not wait for the new and improves version on the Gallery when it is finally completed! Newcastle deserves a larger gallery for its stunning collection. In the meantime, enjoy these little films to show a snippet of the huge amount of work the team at NAG have been doing over the last months…and again: Thanks to and everyone at the Gallery for letting me capture what you do. It is great fun and a real honour😊

Sorry to put this back in anyone’s ear (and no, I don’t care what you think of the last season🤷‍♂️ best show ever ⚔️❤️) - this silly little clip has been selected to be screened at the London Worldwide Short Film Comedy Festival in November…hilarious😂 yet again a huge thanks to all those guys involved in this one and a special shout-out to camera operator extraordinaire: Pete McDonald (aka The Hut Productions ) 🙌 …oh yeah, and thanks to GoT for being amazing of course!
Can’t wait to hear the theme song for House Of Dragons … 🐉 🛡 😏

The Museum crew have been very inventive in trying to use their exhibition in an alternative way for everyone to enjoy - Maynard is a hoot as usual and The Lairs provide some much needed ALMOST live music😊 pop it on your big screen

I had the most brilliant week last week, capturing the buildup, excitement around and emotions of the opening of: WARWAR - The Art of Torres Strait. Such a privilege to learn so much, see so much and laugh so much with everyone involved. Thanks Zana, Toby, Lauretta, Brian and everyone else at Art Gallery. Such an amazing family! This one snuck right up there on one of my all time favorite films to work on. Rachel is such an amazing artist and was so generous with her time, as was Gavin at the Victoria Theatre (which is SO stunning) and the legends at Creator Incubator.
And it is always such a pleasure to collaborate with Zana Kobayashi and the Newcastle Art Gallery 🙌 make sure you go and check out the exhibition from May 15th😊

A beautiful new song by Dave Wells...visually directed from Melbourne by motion designer Danny McKenna - I had the absolute pleasure of being part of this unique collaboration as a cinematographer...the clip came up awesome, but more than anything, make sure you listen to this sweet, sweet song!

Well wow! 😊 I knew there was a reason we kept putting our hands in the air throughout the video 🙌 If it’s all the same to you, please refer to me now as “Award Winning Director...” 😂
HUGE congrats to Dan Loh for his cinematography, to Sean, Murrie and Crimmo for being everyone in the clip, to The Lass O’Gowrie and Lobb family for letting us thrash the pub, to Paul Lobb for his boat, to Neale Davy for his ute, to Pete for his hands, to Helena and Ivy for makeup, to the guys riding the taxi bikes, to the owners of The View Factory, Newcastle Taxis, Mitch, Greer and anyone else who helped out back in the day. What a shoot it was.

Also, special shout-out to Lis & Oscar for just being my favorite people ❤️

Not sure exactly WHY it took me over ten years to enter these clips into film festivals, but decided 2021 was a good time to start...and lo and behold, BOTH The Main Guy & the Other Guys clips ‘Partyhard’ and ‘The Stalker’ have been selected for Reno Comedy Film Festival this month 🏆 woohoo!! Huge shoutout to Dan Loh for his amazing camera work and to Giverny, Murrie, Crimmo, Sean and everyone else who were involved back then in creating these babies👌😊

On Tuesday I expected a week in the office...on Wednesday I feel asleep in the Snowy Mountains...and Thursday - after being part of capturing the most beautiful sunrise and then interview w/ Charles Massy - I went to bed back in Newcastle. Broken Hill's Broken Heel Festival

Not only did I have an amazing time at the festival...I was also given the opportunity to capture it all 😊 No matter where I pointed the 🎥 something glittery and colorful was happening
