CASTING FAMILIES NOW FOR NATIONAL TV SHOW

URGENT CASTING CALL – FAMILIES QLD

We are casting for :

Network tentatively titled "Family Food Fight".

This is a fun family friendly TV competition series that will see families with a passion for cooking competing for a large cash prize as well as the title of Australia's Greatest Food Family.
Our QLD team needs to be:
* A team of 4 people related (part of an extended or blended family) that have a passion for cooking.
* At least one member of the team, preferably two, should rate themselves exceptional in the kitchen.
* Everyone on the team must be aged over 15 years for OH&S reasons.
* An all male family is our holy grail as we have strong female representation most of the other state teams already, but any combination could work as long as one male is an exceptional cook. Perhaps the casting could be a father or mother with their sons… or a sister with her brothers… a grandma or grandpa with their grandkids etc…brothers in laws, cousins - whatever!
* We are open to people who have experience working with food, be it in a Restaurant, Kitchens, Cafes, Food Stalls etc.. They just CANNOT be professionally trained.
* Personality wise we need at least 3 of the 4 members to be great talent / talkers / characters and comfortable with the English language.

* All family members in the team will be paid daily for their appearance on the program and also have any costs associated with filming i.e. days missing work, paying bills, or keeping the home / family running while appearing on the show will be covered by production.
* There is a large cash prize for the winning family and you get the prestige of being Australia's Greatest Food Family.

The Catch:
The show starts filming in mid June for 7 weeks. That means all 4 members of the family team need to be available for filming from mid June to early August 2017.
The show will be filmed in our Nine Network Studio in Melbourne, VIC on a Monday to Friday for 7 weeks.
That means all family members will be flown and accommodated in Melbourne for potentially up to 7 weeks sharing a modern self contained 2 bedroom apartment in the city.
Family members can choose to fly in and out Monday to Friday or stay in Melbourne the entire time.
The competition is knock out style. One family will be eliminated each week until there is just one family left standing. You could be the first family out, in which you will only be in Melbourne for one week. Or you could win the whole thing and have to stay the full 7 weeks.
