☔️ Damp weather ahead..

We have an extremely moisture laden atmosphere across Northern and Eastern parts of the country today as the broad trough system continues its slow trek eastwards. The blue colouration on the map indicates high levels of atmospheric humidity.

An upper level system is helping to funnel moisture from deep in the tropics all the way to the far SE corner of Aus. Showers and thunderstorms will be widespread, tending to areas of rain at times. With high moisture content like this, heavy to intense falls are possible if you manage to get under a thunderstorm.

😲 Don’t try this at home kids!!!!!

🚧 What happens when 40 tonnes of ammonia collides with a highway? This happens!! This is why the Bruce Highway is currently closed and unfortunately it has also impacted the railway lines, so.... unfortunately some deliveries will be delayed until the repairs are made. 🛠️

🥹 Please remember that rats & mice are part of the food chain.. the poison you use to kill them will also kill anything higher up the food chain that happens to eat them. Including your dog, your cat.. a bird of prey, snake and so on.

"I died today.
I was found by a kind, sweet woman who does wildlife rescue.
I was so sick, I could barely open my eyes.
She took me inside, cradling me in her warm arms, and made me warm and comfortable.
I opened my eyes and looked at her and thanked her for making my last few minutes as comfortable as possible.
But I was too sick to keep fighting anymore.
I had eaten a mouse that was poisoned, and it made me very sick.
I closed my yellow eyes for the last time and went somewhere else.
Please, all I ask is never use poison to kill the mice.
Poison kills owls, like me.
All I wanted was a mouse for dinner.

Stop the use of poison for rats or mice.
Live traps are the best to use. Catch and release.
It only takes one share to spread the word."

Robin Williams took his own life because he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia.
Bruce Willis just learned that his illness is Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and Lewy Body Dementia.
One of the hardest things to process is the slow change in the one you love. Becoming a completely different person. Everything changes.
Just so you know...😢 It’s called the long goodbye. Rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it.
As the patient's brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are and become less themselves.
Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move and unable to eat or drink or talk to their loved ones.

There will be people who will scroll by this message because Alzheimer's or other forms of Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought or is fighting a battle against Alzheimer's or other kinds of Dementia (the umbrella term for more than 200 different types).

In an effort to raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would like to see at least 5 of my friends put this on their timeline.
