I would like to thank all my supporters throughout my years here at Krah-fters. Loved every minute but unfortunately my dream ends here. Gut renching but out of my control.
Not sure where my path will lead but I hope it's filled with new adventures, joy and love. Stay safe everyone and thanks!!!

Finally finished!!!!!

Over 20 Op Shop's later and visits to both Green Shed's several times I found my birds!! I couldn't find a Magpie or Galah so I had to make them. My neighbour got me the Cockatoo and a lovely lady in Bungendore gave me the Rainbow Lorikeet. I made all there hats as well

The tree branch I found on the side of the road and my daughter and I lugged in home in my tiny car, boot partly open but a very short drive home. About a week later a huge tree branch fell down at the end of a local road. I just had to have Gum Leaves :-)

All Australia birds, sitting in a Gum Tree, with a tiny Possum and Wombat included.

I picked up the wood today from the wood scrap heap at Bunnings.

Took a lot longer to do than expected, but I'm pretty happy with the end result :-D

And so it begins, start of a new Competition. The Local Christmas Letterbox 😬😬
It's so windy here at moment and my big tree branch won't say where I would like it.
No trees were harmed in the making, all blown over 🌲🌲

Don't buy Christmas paper this year, cut back on your waste and use what is around you. Newspaper and pine needles. Still a stunning result :-D

Wheel Sculptures. Up-cycled from lots of different steel pieces. My daughter made the snail. It's a Preying Mantis and a Frilled Neck Lizard. The lizard took quite a bit of time and vegetable steamers to wire them all together. His tail even moves in the wind :-D
I'm really happy with how they turned out :-D

It's getting to that time of year again, exams are starting and Mum's and Dad's are thinking about that little something to say 'Thanks, for educating my child' well here's a cute idea :-)
I took a large terracotta pot, painted blackboard paint around it and added some cute little garden critters.
The idea was that 'teacher' could change the message on the pot daily as the kids entered the classroom.
A pretty pot lasts longer than chocolates and it's practical.
Good idea...bad idea???

So close to finishing!!!! I had to put my entry in for a Wheel Sculpture Competition. I needed about 3 more Vegetable steamers and a claw to complete the Frill. Stay tuned for more photos :-D

6 bits of scrap metal and a leg from old tracksuit pants 😁
Metal Rabbit basket, grater, 2 x forks, 2 other bits for legs and a spiral thing for a tail. I cut the bottom of my husbands OLD tracksuit pants to keep the flowers in.

Meet Donnie, poor Donnie needed a little surgery and it was suggested that Donnie come to me 😁
Good move ! Donnie's surgery went well and he will be returning home to Bungendore soon.
Great community as we work well together using each other's strengths, mine is Monkey Surgery 🙈🙈🙈
