People know what you look like, right?⁠
So... how do they know what your brand looks like? Carefully choose your logos and colours and remember to consider how you want to be perceived.⁠

STEP THREE: MIX YOUR MESSAGE⁠

Brand messaging is no different, keep it clear, concise and targeted towards your unique audience.⁠

… Understanding who exactly, you are talking to. Are they fellow builders? Are they homeowners? Are they developers sourcing trades or some kind of industry buff? You should specifically tailor your content to their interests.⁠

Sharing ‘good stuff’ is more than just posting… it’s posting useful tips, keeping your audience in the loop about what’s going on in the industry or in your specific projects, and being as real as you can by sharing stories, experiences and insights.⁠

Remember, people connect with authenticity and faking it or hiding online isn’t going to work for you in the long term. ⁠

To get people talking, you need to start talking online yourself! People will engage back when they have something to engage with, use your dm’s, ask questions, invite feedback on posts and make sure you respond!⁠

Building a community needs as much communication as your clients expect to receive, it’s all about conversation!⁠
