Gav’s work is as prolific as it is diverse. With his rock outfit The Van Bams , he released Lazula Moon in 2005 and the highly anticipated Scarlett Moon in 2024, showcasing his ability to craft music that’s both dynamic and deeply evocative. His project Gavin Doniger & The Broken 3 delivered the 2016 album Women, Booze & Sin, recorded in downtown Los Angeles with Hollywood collaborators Jason Achillis Mezilis and Noah Engh. And in 2020, Doniger Music unveiled Renegade, adding yet another layer to his rich musical legacy.— at Mo's Desert Clubhouse.

Gavin’s journey as a performer has taken him to over 15 countries, from the stages of Nashville and Hollywood to iconic Australian festivals and venues. Recently, he shared the night with Ash Grunwald at Miami Marketta with his outfit Mescalito Blues, delivering a set that perfectly embodies his unique ability to captivate any audience.

What sets Gavin apart is his connection to the music. A Night of Transformation: Julie Hayes Captivates Gold Coast Audience at Sold-Out Live Launch!

Last night’s sold-out live launch of Hold Me was an experience like no other. Julie Hayes transformed the art house, creative, industrial yet warm and inviting space at Dog Thumbs into a soulful, immersive journey of connection, storytelling, and authentic musicianship—artistry at its finest.

The evening began with a beautiful surprise as Julie was welcomed to the stage after an opening listen through- and release announcement of I Am Free. This textural and emotional piece immediately drew the audience into her world and set the tone for the night. Layered with intricate sound design, beautiful acoustic guitar, and ethereal vocals, the song felt like a meditation—encouraging the audience to breathe, pause, and reflect before the live performances began.

When Hold Me took center stage, it started with haunting, druid-like vocal layering, showcased by three singers, creating an ethereal soundscape. Julie’s performative art was seductively woven through multimedia visuals and shadow play, leading into a powerful fusion of live and studio sound design. Her vocal abilities shone, supported by angelic harmonies that filled the space. The performance transformed the venue into an immersive, cathartic, and catalytic moment—not just for Julie, but for the entire audience.

Throughout the evening, visual landscapes, shadow designs, and cinematic elements added depth to the performance, enhancing the audience's sensory experience. Set design and carefully curated lighting elevated the atmosphere, turning the performance into a multi-dimensional artistic showcase.Josh lovegrove's masterful live sound took the performance to another level, seamlessly blending Julie’s live vocals and instrumentation with studio to stage arrangements & quality effects. His attention to detail created a textured soundscape that heightened every moment.

Julie’s storytelling between songs added an intimate, personal touch. She shared openly about her creative process and the deeper themes behind her music, making the performance feel like a conversation among friends. The audience was invited to participate in moments of collaborative singing and harmonies, furthering the immersive experience.

A surprise announcement of I Am Free’s re-release on streaming platforms delighted the audience, and with Hold Me set for release on November 1st, anticipation is high. Julie also unveiled her upcoming Music of the Land EP fundraiser, inviting fans to be part of her journey as she continues to craft her unique, transformative sound.

After an extraordinary couple of weeks, from winning Triple M Brisbane’s ‘The Kill’ Cover Contest to performing alongside Jared Leto and 30 Seconds to Mars at Riverstage, Pitchford shared with us how this experience is helping shape and reinforce his trajectory.

“The crowd, the music, the emotions—it was intense. I wasn’t nervous, I was excited. It felt right, like I SHOULD be there. Like this truly is who I am—the singer, the vocalist, the rockstar!” Tim said.

For Tim, this performance marked a powerful and tangible moment of self-realization. “I’ll do everything in my power to keep bringing my voice to bigger stages and more people,” he said.

Looking ahead, Tim is ready to build on this momentum. “The fire has been lit. I plan to use this as a springboard to get back to stages like this, connecting with thousands of people.”

Next up: his new collaborative single “Before It Began” is set to release soon, followed by a trip to Europe to promote the track and film its music video. Tim’s ambition remains clear: “Whether it’s solo work, with my band Kalatone, or session vocals, I know what the end game is now, and I’m just getting started.”

Tim’s no stranger to the music scene. As a live sound engineer at , producer at Symphony Hill Studios, and new frontman for bands like , his skills run deep. But this win proves he's got something extra special. Tackling the vocal complexity of "The Kill", we think he nailed it! Even was impressed, saying, "I couldn’t tell if it was me or you singing!"
