Finally, we've got the super fast internet back up and running.. Not guaranteed as its a darn faraday chamber in those rooms sometimes but you can now get unlimited Free WiFi . I can probably sort a hardwire if you arrange in advance also. 😎

Heaps of awesome pics and vids to come... and so much to say about the first Jam Ball Donut and where its going from here...

BUT a picture paints a thousand words.... the smiles on everyones faces afterwards is everything to me.

We've all had a hard run, as artists & creatives, for a while now, and there hasn't been a great deal of Good news at the grass roots level lately. For me, this is a tipping point, I never started this studio for profit, for glory, for bragging rights, for anything to do with me really except that I love what I do- but one thing is for sure, and those who know me can vouch for this, whilst im a performer in my own rght, I am at my utmost happiest and in my element when I can facilitate other artists and help cultivate great music great times, great memories and most of all bring a bit of sparkle and joy into peoples lives. i held my first Talent quest at my primary school in year 3 and it kept going from there. Earlier that year...Reg Grundy, my first true mentor has a lot to do with this part of me. He got me up on stage and encouraged me, he got me in the studio daily and it had absolutely NOTHING to do with money or profit... It was the heart- it was the music- it was the elevation of my soul.... Its at my core. For me, This event was a huge success... this picture and the smiles is evidence of that.. I never write "watch this space".. but seriously,, watch this space... 😍

Anyone keen on a curated studio jams.... had a few people keen, we've had private jams arranged by whole groups before but i've had a bit of interest from some individual musicians who would like me to help set them up with other similar musos for a quality jam, ensuring the set lists and genres and players are all there and ready to go- and i suppose using my knowledge of the artists to group everyone together musicially and cohesively. It can be hard to find the right players and arrange times, set lists etc. If I get enough interest in these I'll start arranging an evening of it regularly.

Just guaging interest... anyone keen on this?

Just booked a 3 song recording audio & video production session in with a very talented local artist. I've been very reluctant to record for a few reasons for a while but after some tweaking and chatting with neighbours etc we have now got 3 low noise, recording quality days available moving forward. My lack of booking recording and production has also Its also been around baby, Not only do I work full time managing the studio , im also Davids full time carer/nurse. Only now and recently have I been able to spend more time on work and myself after 2 years around the clock care. It's been a wild ride.

My ears are out of practice for recording ( another reason why im not running rehersals anymore myself so I can save them) .. and also the last thing I want to do is book artists for recording sessions and then cancel due to hospital etc.... things have calmed down now and weve worked around the clock to restructure the timetable and our overall workloads to free me up to do more of what I love..

So if you'd like to come work with me while I cut my teeth ( ears ) back in, im now opening up conversations.... i know there has been quite a few of you waiting for me to start recording again..

We are not world class or state of the art at all and dont intend on getting a heap of high end recording equipment in as the place just isnt built for that type of investment. I can work with you on tracking, post prod, production bundles, mixing and more- all starting small. I was a bit of a gun a drum tracking a ways back so I would love to get that happening again also but thats a little bit longer away.

Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays you'll now be able to book a room to DIY record yourself, or come do some tracking with me, or even dry hire the whole place for your own projects. Of course we are still open for podcasts, hot desks and other low noise creative projects at these times also.

🔥Our first workshop style event since updating upstairs went beautifully last night with a unique and private winter solstice ceremony (14 people). The client was able to book upstairs, arrange staging, lighting, some extra little inclusions, tech, staffing- all direct with us in a prebooking walkthrough, and take care of all of his tickets/ rsvp/ exchanges himself.

Are you looking to hold a pubilc or private workshop, podcast, music video, content shoot or even an exclusive "in studio" gig...

We can help with marketing and tickets/POS also if you want!

2 Private events booked for this weekend - I just wanted to highlight the versatility of the upstairs space.

Already so far we've had a few things happen in there BUT this weekend we have a very very special sharmanic ceremony for the winter solstice...( private invite only) and then also a Music Video the next day in the same room.

Prices for this space range from $80 -$222 generally but we always customised our quotes to suit your needs.

If you are looking for a lush, quality space that sounds, feels and looks great suitable, please reach out. Im so excited to be now able to open the place up to more creative projects and look forward to sharing it all with you.
