Make 2025 the year of Good vision for life for Aussie kids!

From the year they start primary school, Optometry Australia recommends children visit a trusted optometrist every year until they turn 18.

In between annual eye exams, there are also other ways parents can help mitigate the risk of their kids developing myopia.

“We suggest caregivers encourage as much outdoor play as possible, advocate for regular breaks away from phones, iPads and television, make sure screens are positioned at least an arm’s length from the eyes and dissuade their kids from using screens in dimmed rooms.”
