🚨 Two caravans have been engulfed with flames at a dealership in Bundaberg this morning (July 1).
Three Queensland Fire Department crews rushed to the scene to contain the fire.
There was no threat to buildings. The Fire Investigations Unit is assessing the cause of the blaze.

Bells Bridge rescue
A man has been airlifted to a hospital in Brisbane after a serious crash that closed the Bruce Highway north of Gympie this afternoon.
Rescue crews had to cut the man from his vehicle, after it went down a 10-metre embankment at Bells Bridge.
The highway was closed in both directions while the rescue operation was underway.
He has been taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious head injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Police update: The search is continuing for an 82 year old man who's been missing in the Childers area since Sunday night.
Peter Hodgins was last seen at an aged care facility.
Police say Mr Hodgins suffers from a medical condition and may be confused or disorientated.

Whale sharks are rarely seen off Queensland's south-east coast, with the last recorded sighting four years ago.

How the CSIRO is building bushfire knowledge through simulated burns
Australian scientists have a secret weapon in the fight to understand bushfire behavior 🥼🔥🍂
While fires can't be removed as a threat to our landscape, there is an opportunity to better understand how they behave and the factors that influence them.
That's why researchers at the CSIRO in Canberra built the Pyrotron, to test fire behavior and conduct experiments with a level of control that can't be achieved outdoors.

Police have seized $60 million worth of cannabis, cash, vehicles and equipment connected to a grow farm on the Fraser Coast.
Operation Victor Economy was established by police to target an organised crime group involved in the production and distribution of cannabis across Australia.
Officers raided a property at Gungaloon, west of Maryborough, last week, and allegedly found more than 11,000 cannabis plants and 515 kilograms of dried cannabis.
A further 10 raids were carried out on properties in Logan, Brisbane, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast.
Police say more than $500,000 in cash and drugs were found.
18 people have been charged with 80 drug related offences.

Maryborough’s own Norma Howard turned 104 last week! 🥳
Born in the Maryborough hospital in 1919, Norma has lived through two global pandemics - the Spanish Flu and Covid-19. 💪
She still loves to go on a daily walk and lives alone in a beautiful brick home that was designed by her late husband, Richard, more than 60 years ago. 🏡
Norma has more grandkids than she can count! ❤️
Besides her family, her favourite thing in the world was dancing with Richard. 💃

Bundaberg Walking Basketball

Gloria Powell hasn't played basketball in decades, but when she heard 'walking basketball' was starting in Bundaberg she couldn't wait to pick up a ball again.
Bundaberg Basketball Director of Coaching and Programming Louise Webb says by offering walking basketball, it becomes a 'lifelong sport'.
Both returning players and some who've never played before have already given it a go.
"The camaraderie, the friendship, having a common interest and connection is a big part of the appeal, then just being active and able to move in a different way, than you would everyday, and promoting a healthy lifestyle and active movement is great," Louise said.
