The constant cycle. Eat, sleep, work - repeat.

You are not ungrateful if you feel like you are wanting and needing more.

Payday to payday “living” is not the be all and end all to life.

Change doesn’t need to be loud and flashy, it can be a quiet rebellion in the sidelines that simply gives you more choice, more breathing room and an alternative to those cycles.

If you are simply looking for a life that has options, security, choice and growth….not just the cycle of life most stay stuck in, you are not ungrateful, you are allowed to want more.

Not screaming.
Not melting down.
Just quietly tapping you on the shoulder… again.

Start small.
Start badly.
But start today!

Because the people you see online building lives they actually want
aren’t smarter, luckier or more confident than you.

They just got tired of pretending everything was fine.

Tired of being busy but feeling like they were standing still.

Tired of doing all the “right” things and still feeling stuck.

Tired of silencing that whisper with distraction and dopamine.

And one day… they listened.

Not with a perfect plan.
Not with clarity or certainty.
Just with a decision.

Some of this frightens me, some I already knew, some scares me as a mumma of 3….

But mostly, I feel grateful.

Grateful I found a my own “side hustle” that quickly became my flexible, scaleable source of income outside of the system.

Inspired by predictions of stronger communities! Community, connection, collaboration - all at the heart of my business world and life.

But honestly, while inspired, I’m also concerned. Concerned for those who believe the powers that govern will “fix things” for us.

They won’t.
They can’t….well they could but we all know, us everyday humans, the families, the middle class, the low income earners…we are not the priority.

I am fearful but also hopeful because I know there are options for those willing to pivot and secure their future.

I’ll continue to shine my light for those that can also see that a side income, multiple streams of income are no longer a luxury, they are a necessity!

I’ll always hold the door open for those ready to explore income opportunities, collaboration projects, growth and connection.

I joke a lot that having a job is my personal nightmare ~ but the truth behind that joke runs a lot deeper than people realise.

Last night, I had a really honest conversation with my eldest as she prepares to possibly have to move back home for a bit.

We were talking about work, sacrifice, and what it actually costs to constantly pour into everyone else.

Those conversations always take me back to when my big girls were younger.

I was working in roles that were meaningful, community-centred, deeply needed… but they also stretched me in ways that weren’t sustainable.

And while I was out there being of service to everyone else, I missed signs in my own home that I should never have missed.
Not because I didn’t care.
Not because I wasn’t trying.
But because I was exhausted, overwhelmed, constantly running, constantly giving more than I had.

There were moments ~ without going into details ~ where my girls were silently struggling in ways I didn’t see soon enough.

Moments no parent ever wants to look back on and realise they were too burnt out, too depleted, too distracted by survival to catch early.

That’s a truth that reshaped my entire life.

And it’s why I refuse to repeat it.

I won’t sacrifice Sylvie’s formative years, the years where kids feel things deeply but don’t always say them out loud ~ just so I can be of service to everyone except the people who actually need me most.

My purpose didn’t disappear.
It simply evolved.

Now, I’m here for the heart-led humans who want to make an impact without losing themselves.

For the parents who want freedom that isn’t yachts or private jets — but the freedom to be present, flexible, calm, available.

For the people who know they’re meant for more but don’t want that “more” to come at the cost of their family or their wellbeing.

I still work.
I still pour myself into community.
I still serve with everything I’ve got.

But now I do it in a way that doesn’t break me. In a way that doesn’t take me away from the people I love.

In a way that honours the lessons life already taught me the hard way.

If that spoke to a little space in your heart that you’ve possibly been trying to convince yourself is not there, it’s okay to admit that things need a shift.

I can show you what I’m helping others build that creates the freedom that looks like presence, patience and nurture without sacrificing income, purpose and fulfilment.
