Sat down with Amber Burke, COO of Burn Boot Camp, to talk gym growth. 📊💪 Spoiler alert: It’s not just about killer workouts, it’s smart marketing + franchise teamwork. Because packed classes don’t happen by accident.

What makes Burn Boot Camp different? 🏋️‍♀️💙 I asked Amber Burke, and she didn’t say fancy workouts or a trendy new fitness fad. She said the people. More than a gym, it’s a squad that lifts you up, physically and mentally. 💪

"I don’t have time.’ ‘I’ll start next week.’ ‘The moon’s energy feels off.’ 😩😂 People have mastered the art of quitting the gym. But according to Amber Burke, COO of Burn Boot Camp, fitness isn’t just something you do, it’s something you commit to. No more ghosting your gains. 🚀

Why do the majority of local businesses struggle to make money...

Sorry guys the harsh truth is coming out for 2025.

If you have a business that requires a location and you have to rent the space...I have some bad news for you.

You see...you might have thought, my doors are open, people see my shop, they should just come...

This might have worked a while ago...

But with strong competition and big companies flooding the market, you really need to think about how to get more business in through the door, aside from word of mouth and an A-frame sign on the side of the road (I hope you've got one)

I might come out as negative to you but...think of it this way:

If your profit margins are not there, what is the biggest expense eating out the profits?

Is it your rent and team?

Now I want you to think about how you're offsetting this? What are you doing to increase the foot-through-the-door traffic to meet your business goals?

Social Media Posts? Emails? Events? And...do those methods bring you enough to actually meet your targets?

Do you have this in writing? E.g. some old friendly spreadsheet to track your daily/weekly/monthly leads and conversions? What channels are working the best?
..now back to the heavy rent...I hope when you rented the space, you budgeted some of your marketing $$ as well...
Because if not...I have so bad news for you...you need to actually have some marketing budget in place...and by some

I mean sometimes as high as your rent to just offset it.

So when you set your business goals for 2025, think of what exactly would be your move regarding getting your business where it needs to be in 2025.

What marketing channels are you going to use next year to help you get more people in?

What automation and AI tools do you have in place to do some heavy lifting for you?

What accountability tools/partners/mentors will you have to keep everything on track?

I've seen way too many going out of business over the years (2024 especially) because they didn't have things in place and didn't treat marketing their services seriously...

If you feel like talking about this, comment below or dm me and I'll share some tools that I use for myself. I want your business to stay open and to flourish next year!

Happy New 2025! And let all your dreams come true!

‘Tis the season for holiday cheer and existential dread.

The entrepreneurial journey, folks, where you regularly question your sanity and wonder if you should’ve just opened a taco stand instead or back to 9-5.

Five years ago, we saw a little spark of potential. Just me and a VA, hustling, grinding, and making more money than my husband’s 9 to 5. So what did we do, we went all in. He quit the day job.

Cue life. Plot twist incoming. Health challenges, pressure stacking up faster than unread emails, and the need for a bigger team. Not employees. Teammates. People who get the vision, the culture, and aren’t just here to clock in and out.

Turns out my husband has a superpower for hiring, who knew Now we’re growing, bringing on more talent, and leveling up every move. And yeah, we stay quiet, not loud. No social media megaphone, just busy building badassery. But wait for it...

In the last year, we’ve leaned hard into AI. Think instant speed to lead, automations that wake up old leads, and bots that chat, qualify, and even sell. AI isn’t coming, it’s here. And if you’re not using it, you’re leaving money on the table and leaving yourself in the dust of competitors.

Oh, and that old agency model, we’re flipping the script with performance based marketing. No risk, no ridiculous ad spend. We get paid when we deliver results. Feels like a win win because it is.

So as we roll into the new year, we’re coming in hot and strong. If you’re in my circle and wanna talk marketing, AI, automation, or how to survive the entrepreneurial rollercoaster without losing your mind, hit me up. I’ll share what I know.

Because sometimes you just need someone to remind you that questioning your sanity is part of the ride. Happy Holidays!
