The Academic Board has recently endorsed a proposal to discontinue Museum Studies programs at UQ.

This decision was done without student consultation and will have significant repercussions towards Queensland's arts and cultural sector.

We stand with all current Museum Studies students, those that were interested in studying these courses and the museum industry and call for the Vice-Chancellor to not approve the decision to discontinue these programs. Universities have a responsibility in supporting the next generation of industry leaders and decisions like these undermine this.

🚨 Witness Appeal: Hit and Run Accident 🚨

Our client, a UQ student, was cycling home after a late-night shift. This routine commute turned tragic when a hit-and-run driver struck her. She was found injured and unconscious by a stranger, suffering from multiple fractures and a concussion. After a week in the hospital, she still faces a long recovery.

We urgently seek anyone who might have seen the accident, heard anything, or captured video/photo evidence. Your information can help ensure that this tragedy does not go unanswered.
