What is Families Magazine?
Families Magazine flagship edition was established in 2013 in Brisbane and the concept quickly grew across SE QLD. Families Magazines are an A4 glossy magazine that are noted for being a genuinely useful read for families in the local area. The reason for our success is our ‘localness’; our editorial features are locally written and are always up to date. Our comprehensive, bi-monthly ‘Families Fun’ Events Calendar gives the magazine a coffee table life of 6 – 8 weeks. Families Magazines strive to be excellent! We care about what we write and print; with a focus on family, not just children – we write about health, well-being, family values, education and fun in our local community and surrounds.
We care about what we advertise. We accept adverts from schools, businesses and organisations that have a similar ethos to ours; that is, those that support families health, well-being, education and family friendly fun.
Our typical readers are parents, carers and professionals (including teachers and health care staff) who enjoy the local content of our articles and the intelligent style of our magazine. We solicit editorial from local writers to ensure our content is useful, relevant, local, inspired. The A4 size makes us easy to pick up and read anywhere, anytime!
