Being able to pick up our lunch and spend a day by the sea, soaking up the sun and fresh air, is such a privilege. It’s the perfect way to recharge and get ready for the upcoming week.

I recently attended a three-day online event hosted by a leading education platform in Ukraine, where several guest speakers shared insights on marketing and beyond. One of the standout moments for me was hearing Yaroslava Gres, a well-known Ukrainian PR expert and co-founder of Gres Todorchuk PR, say that you can’t motivate someone if they’re not already passionate about what they do.

I immediately found myself nodding because that’s been my exact experience, not just in building my team but also in working with clients. I always aim to collaborate with people who are already enthusiastic about their work—it makes all the difference in achieving great results!

I started following her Australian journey long before I moved to Australia myself :)
And I knew we would work together one day!

She is a Fairy and she loooves what she is doing. (And I tell you she is doing an amazing job entertaining little ones!! It's not an easy task to grab and keep an attention of 3 y.o kids party :) but she does it with ease. I am happy I managed to catch some emotions and smiles:) And I wish I could share more images with kids, they are really cool!

Being a PRO in your sphere does not necessarily imply having the best and the latest equipment. Most importantly it is to know your equipment to the highest level. There is no such a thing as Magic Button; you have to use your knowledge and experience to be able to offer quality result consistently.

The final gallery of images & video that I send to my clients is not a final result. What I deliver is meant to serve some bigger marketing goals for business promotion.

Like in this case, video that we created for Mike Rooney has been used for a very clever add campaign. It is performing amazingly well - 4.3k views, wow! Just WOW! Imagine how many could see his new listing!

I am so proud to be involved in this process and help my clients to build their brands and to be seen like a PRO!

I am starting this week with a big smile and a promise to myself to help as many businesses owners to promote their brands as I can. Have a great and productive week everyone!

Do you think that developing your personal brand isn't easy because you are an Introvert?

So, this is a GREAT video for all my Introvert clients ! (please see the link in comments).

I hear this all the time - 'I am not confident on camera.. I don't like being photographed... I don't like the process..'

But, listen!
You are not 'not confident', you do not 'don't like the experience' etc. It's just being an Introvert you need to find a person who will be comfortable to work with! Someone who feels how much breaking borders can hurt, someone who will not fill the whole room with their personality and laughter living no space for yourself (The Client), someone who understands that to be the focus of attention is not a comfort zone. Look for a person who will aspire you, who will respect your introvert part of personality and who will gently guide you and make you genuinely smile.

You ARE brave and you ARE confident already, because you know that you need quality photography to promote your personal brand and develop your business and you GO FOR IT! You are strong and you love your business! You just need to find a person who fits your personality and understands your introvert soul.

Do you pay enough attention to image compression for your website?

“Optimize for speed - Images are often the largest contributor to overall page size, which can make pages slow and expensive to load. Make sure to apply the latest image optimization and responsive image techniques to provide a high quality and fast user experience.”

- this is what Google support page says.

Back in 2018 the company announced that mobile search algorithms would begin to take page load speed into account.

Image optimisation will help you create better user experience, make page load times faster, and, according to the above info – will make your ranking opportunities higher.

If it plays such an important role – what do you do to have your photo content optimised for the website use? How can you compress images to the smallest file size possible?

Well, first thing first, and I wouldn’t have been a business photographer if hadn’t told you this - Start with good photos!

As to compression, I personally am going to use squoosh.app tool to increase my own website rank. This is a web-based browser app that reduces the file size of images while maintaining image quality.
