I get the impression that the LNP at no time thought they could win this seat of and have selected a candidate with that in mind. I was unimpressed with Ms Singh’s performance in the Courier Mail interview series. �The is guilty of taking their supporters for granted, ie expecting we will vote for the Party even if the candidate Pinky Singh is not up to scratch. And they wonder why they have been in opposition for 19 of the last 22 years.

I received a phone call this afternoon asking if I would be interested in working as an adviser on Max Chandler-Mather's supposed campaign to help the homeless.

His office mentioned that they were aware of my past work with Big Issue Magazine, Senator Andrew Bartlett, Vodafone, PriceWaterhouseCooper, Social Ventures Australia and many others in successfully getting people off the streets and into housing.

I agreed and asked what they wanted me to do. Their reply was to doorknock in his electorate and let people know the great work Max is doing. I politely pointed out that this would be of absolutely no benefit to anybody except Max.

I also pointed out that, to date, Max has not actually done anything of any consequence, other than to block any legislation that would actually be of assistance.

The woman then became extremely aggressive and abusive, claiming that any refusal to doorknock for Max meant that I had never been serious about helping the homeless and was a fraud. It seems that Max's staff are as self-centred, arrogant, immature and narrow-minded as Max himself is.

My Post Rant for today

Do you believe as I do, that if Jim Chalmers MP has the opportunity, he should modernise & redesign and enhance this crazy Monetary policy where 0.2% increase/ change in CPI is a major catastrophe!
Noone is reporting on the major significant fundamentals and increases & decreases for the 2000+ goods & services that make up the Consumer Price Index.

If the RBA increases interest rates in August, who does it impact?
Who are winners? Who are losers? Who dont give a rats?
The losers are the renters and new Mortgagees. Older mortgagees having mostly paid off their debts are not impacted as much.

The farmers have been squeezed for decades & the Country Party/ National party didnt give a rats!
Liberal Howard sold off our gas to Japan & China at basement bargain prices until 2032; noone gave a rats! You have all forgotten or didnt know.

The wealthy retirees & Boomers like me, living the Dream , going to music festivals or on cruises and international travel, so many dont give a rats.
Not all of course, but then there is those wealthy Millennials who shop to they drop- buying luxury watches, clothes & shoes! Its their spending (Boomers & Millennials)thats driving up the CPI.

The winners are the Banks multi millionaire CEOs and shareholders.

The families & the many poorer singles struggling with cost of living pressures are the only ones REALLY impacted by the RBA increasing interest rates.What are they gonna do to lower CPI?

Treasury needs an additional Independent organisation to target taxing of a small group of Goods & Services . The Independent RBA should be dissolved, and the Feds redesign a new Organisation and governance that in these fragile times of increasing inflation, leave the Pensioners, the Unemployed, the Renters, Underclass, the Less privileged and those are saving for unaffordable $1 million houses alone.

I recommend everyone watch the biden vs Trump debate on youtube for at least first 30 minutes & decide for yourself. Biden looks very old; trump sounds young.
Both are on their last legs
However, biden is not anywhere as senile & losing it as everyone makes out. Biden looked overwhelmed with LIE after LIE from Trump. Fortunately biden ran his own race & did not get bogged down attacking him the whole hour. It could have been much worse

CPI is risen to 4%.
So many call for an interest rate rise. That will only hurt those who already feel the pinch. It will have little impact on those who can afford to “shop until they drop”.

The primary driver of the unexpectedly high inflation rise last month was housing costs, which rose 5.2 per cent over the last year.

"Rents increased 7.4 per cent for the year, reflecting a tight rental market across the country," the ABS said.

"The annual rise in new dwelling prices remained steady at 4.9 per cent with builders passing on higher costs for labour and materials."
