Remember Ghost Busters? We often get reminded of them by passers by when my team and I wear these fashion statements.

This rig is called an EasyRig and while it looks a little silly it does a couple of things:

1. It balances the weight of the camera throughout the camera operators body allowing you to film for hours and hours even with a large camera setup with a fraction of the usual fatigue.

2. with a spring arm like on this one it also removes up and down movements providing a floaty feel to the footage that is halfway between handheld and gimbal footage.

Just for the record we haven't defeated any ghosts yet but we also can't say that it wouldn't hurt to try in the event of an unexpected apocalypse ;)
