Let's flip the view >> here's how I was influenced by both organic & paid marketing from these Aussie brands. 👇Even though I’m a marketer & know the tricks/psychology behind purchase decision making online, here is proof that 𝙄 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 by aligned, effective marketing! 😳
The last 5 things I remember impulsively buying:
> Archie’s footwear
> Voomies
> Ela & Earth
> Louve collection
> Worry Rings
😌👆These brands stood out to me & convinced me I needed their products ASAP…this is how they did it:
🧨 The user & buyer experience was seamless!
🧨 A mix of high-quality professional content & relatable content utilising a more human approach to their marketing with User Generate Content, Team Generated Content, Founder Generated Content, Creator Generated Content & Influencer collabs.
🧨Very clearly showcase product features AND also focus on the emotional benefits [pain point marketing]. Building interest, intrigue and painting themselves into the lives of customers - having a deep understanding of the humans who need what they have. [lol me]
🧨 Consistency of messaging, tone & vibe. Often using the EXACT language their ideal customer, [me again] would use when thinking about, talking about or searching for their products.
🧨 Repetition showing up in my feed consistently on multiple platforms [IG, TT, FB, Social & Google Ads, Emails etc.] Thank you algorithms.
🧨 Pulling me in with engaging behaviours like polls, question boxes, links in stories & highly RESPONSIVE to comments, DM's & story shares from customers.
🧨 Incentives, deals & sales that reward you for supporting them, important for both new & repeat customers to have high perceived value & brand loyalty. This brings me to abandoned cart emails and retargeting ad campaigns.
