Two people have died following a horror mid-air collision at Caboolture Airport. The two planes collided on Friday morning with one aircraft landing safely and the male pilot was not seriously injured. Initial reports state that the crash happened close to the ground. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSP) and Queensland Police say a full investigation will take place.

Bald Hills | A truck has struck the Linkfield Rd overpass with reports of concrete debris over the road. The left southbound lane is entirely blocked with the bridge fully closed. Delays are expected to be lengthy, stretching all the way to Burpengary. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area.

A horror crash near Rockhampton involving an army truck this morning has caused long delays on the Bruce Highway this afternoon. Black flames were seen as six people were taken to hospital.

Earlier today, missing 20 year old man Kyle Morris’ body was discovered in Carseldine after several days of searching the local area.
Kyle’s father posted this statement this afternoon:
It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you, that our beloved son has been found dead this afternoon. Even though this is devastating to Kyle's family and friends, it is only through all of your efforts, care, concern, best wishes, sharing of posts, posting up flyers, the great SES volunteers (Anita and the team), the police force (Corey, Troy, Kayne and the team at Albany Creek) etc. that we found him so quickly and the family can now rest, knowing that Kyle is not alone and suffering somewhere. You should all be proud of yourselves as a community. I thank you all from the bottom of my broken heart. RIP mate. ❤️

Around 12.30pm police were called to a residence at Burkell Court due to a reported domestic incident between a man and a woman.
A man has sustained gunshot wounds after allegedly being shot by police.
A man has been shot by police multiple times in Bray Park. Paramedics are treating the patient who was reportedly shot three times.

FINAL UPDATE @ 1:00pm | Queensland Police Service has located an 18-year-old woman and newborn baby girl who were missing from Basin Pocket. They were located safe at Ipswich shortly after 11am.
Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
UPDATE 1 @ 7:30pm | Police are wanting to speak to 18 year old Khloe Bornen who is believed to be with the 1 day old baby. Photos below.
The Queensland Police Service is seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 1-day-old baby girl who was taken from Ipswich hospital yesterday, who may be at significant risk.
Two women were seen taking the baby and putting her into a white Suzuki Liana with registration 095HI8.
The car was last seen leaving Charlotte Street, Basin Pocket at 2.30pm today, June 13.

Queensland Police have charged a 38-year-old Albion man following the discovery of an alleged clandestine drug laboratory in Pinkenba yesterday, Tuesday, March 6. As part of a major drug trafficking operation, Operation Victor Carpenter, detectives from Carseldine Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) executed a search warrant at a Lavarack Avenue property where they allegedly located a commercial pill press and illicit laboratory equipment suspected of being used to produce methamphetamine, cocaine and ketamine. The search also resulted in allegedly locating a number of other items, including $583,000 worth of cash, a large amount of glassware, cooking implements, containers, electrical equipment and chemicals, as well as a cash counting machine, hand gun and silencer. A 38-year-old Albion man was arrested at Brisbane International Airport yesterday and charged with 12 offences. These include two counts each of possessing relevant substances and possessing dangerous drugs (Schedule 1), and one count each of unlawful possession of weapons, trafficking in dangerous drugs, producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing anything for use in the commission of crime, dealing in proceeds of crime, authority required to possess explosives and attempted possession of commercial quantities of unlawfully imported border controlled drugs. Here is an update on the fatal Queensland shooting which claimed the life of two police officers and an innocent neighbour. Three people are dead including two police officers after an ugly gunfight last night in Wieambilla near Chinchilla. Three gunmen have been shot dead by police after they hid in bushes when four police officers attended the the property investigating a missing person case that was issued by NSW police. 2 officers were shot and pronounced dead at the scene while a third officer received a bullet graze and the fourth managed to escape. She was only just 8 weeks into her role as an officer. Police commissioner Katarina Carroll said every Queenslanders heart is aching. Now, here at the police headquarters in Brisbane, multiple floral tributes have been left where Queensland Police mourn two of their own killed in a planned execution.
