The past few months we have been working with CQ Markets and Events to create event branding and marketing for the events that took place this weekend in Yeppoon on behalf of Livingstone Shire Council.
Two events in one weekend. An Adults night event with a bar and live DJ, followed by a Saturday program full of family fun and entertainment.

Too Viral.. What happens when a post goes too viral? Well that happened this week to one of my clients. As a social media manager I create content like graphics, stories and articles to share on clients business pages to increase engagement, develop customers and ultimately turn these into sales $$ for my client. In doing this I also research and find various content that matches my clients target audience. However, when you find something too good and it goes too viral it doesn't always get the results you want. Like building local customers to attend an event directed at local community and surround areas.
Yep this happened this week! The follow up plan is now to use that engagement to our advantage.

This video is titled "Lady Devine - The Last Embrace". 1st July would have been Lady Diana's 60th Birthday and last night in England the Princes unveiled a statue in honor of the incredible woman that so many of us admired.

Where were you on the day Lady Diana passed? I was working as the Manager at Bras n Things in Chadstone Shopping Centre Melbourne. It was an incredibly surreal day. Customers were wondering around and not really shopping, people didn't know what to do with themselves. I got the news as I was driving to work and was in complete denial until I met with others at the centre who were also feeling lost and in shock. I remember I called my mum that night and cried. It was something you just couldn't help but feel.
