Accurate, detailed customer personas perform a vital role in helping businesses build and execute effective marketing campaigns. By capturing the common attributes of 'typical' customers and understanding who they are, what they want and how they behave, we can create more targeted campaigns that meet their specific needs and interests.

Content Empire recently applied our customer persona expertise to support improved learning and development outcomes for one of Australia's largest volunteer organisations, the Country Fire Authority (CFA).

We surveyed its 50,000 members, conducted focus group, analysed hours of discussion and hundreds of survey results to develop five distinct learner personas.

The learner personas are being used to design and develop training experiences that are more aligned with the preferences of their learners. This will lead to enhanced learning experiences for CFA members, improved learning outcomes and help to ensure volunteers have the skills and knowledge they need to respond to incidents safely.

Research shows that the simple act of including captions on your videos can:

Among their many wonderful initiatives, the Travel Program is one of the most inspiring for all involved. Every year, a group of girls travel from their communities to spend a week in a metropolitan city to explore new educational musical and performance opportunities. Under the guidance of trusted mentors and friends, the girls enjoy 7 days of confidence-boosting connections and experiences. The next planned trip is to Sydney later this year.

Victoria's Road Safety Partnership brings together five government agencies to coordinate and implement road safety initiatives across the state. Partnership staff needed a centralised "go-to guide" to inform their communication materials.

According to Instagram data crunched by scheduling tool Later.com, posting to a consistent frequency is more important than the frequency itself. So, if it works for your business to post twice a week, then do. And be consistent about it!
