Sunday rocked at Bundanoon Hotel's second Open Mic, sponsored by Highland FM 107.1, creating a platform for emerging artists. The air buzzed with energetic tunes from 15 year old Joss Walsh, complemented by powerhouse performances by Derek, @NicLee, Suzanne, @Shardae and Loki Hines.
A perfect musical punch to Sunday afternoon.
Stan Korytnyj's exhibition Address The Demons was a huge success, drawing praise for his controversial pieces and daring concepts. Some were left disappointed as sought after works sold within minutes of being displayed.
Excited for what Stan has in store!
Exhibition closes on Tuesday.
How lucky we were to encounter magic, wonder and awe at the Bundanoon Folk Festival, a memorable experience that will last forever.
There were so many amazing performances, from The Water Runners, The Peppercorns, Rheinberger & Wilson to Den Hanrahan.
Saturday night at the Bundanoon Hotel Brigadoon Bar was a hit, with Gallie and his band of Irish brothers treating everyone to tunes from the Sionnach Rua Great Irish Song Book....and the crowd couldn't stop raving about it!
We thoroughly enjoyed witnessing the talent of these exceptional artists. Peter Campbell Songs deeply moved us and the performances by Two if by Sea, The J & B Troubadours, Amber Music and Nic Lee, whose CDs sold out, filled us with pride.
The captivating music and song by We Mavericks marked one of the final performances. Lindsay’s impeccable picking and Victoria’s enchanting voice transcended the wooden rafters of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, evoking bittersweet melodies that resonated with life's essence.
Gratitude goes to the Bundanoon Folk Festival organisers, volunteers, venue managers and performers for orchestrating such a beautiful event and needless to say how proud Highland FM 107.1 was to be a sponsor.
