Like most of you, we read this last night and are very disappointed with the lack of communication!
But like most things thereโs nothing we can do about it!
We thank you all for your support and continued support!
Three Central West cities will lose the printed editions of their daily newspapers from the end of next month.
The weekday editions of the Central Western Daily, the Western Advocate and the Daily Liberal will only be available online, and will print 'expanded' editions on Saturdays.
Meanwhile, the Oberon Review and the Blayney Chronicle will stop publishing in print for good, and move online from 26 August.
The owner of the papers, Australian Community Media, says it expects there will be redundancies if editorial and sales roles can't be redistributed.
The Western Advocate has been printed since 1848, while the Daily Liberal was founded in 1874, and the CWD in 1945.
