I clean forgot to share this here, but I uploaded a new Japan vlog the other week! If you're keen to follow some new Japan adventures and see what it's like, have a look 🙂 This one dives into an area of "Tokyo" I hadn't seen yet. It's Yokohama! Considered an easy day trip, Yokohama is actually one of the largest cities in Japan. You can casually stroll through Yokohama Chinatown, eating loads of street food along the way. They also have this giant Gundam on the water's edge, which luckily hasn't been removed yet! It's due to be removed in 2024. I like to think they'll place it on the side of a Japanese mountain somewhere, slowly waving and pointing to the sky...

I had extremely bad skin, used everything on the planet to try and fix it, and you probably followed me at some point in that journey. I hope your own skin is going great, and you're out there living your best life!
Now, I make vlogs. Why? Well, my skin is fine. I'm older, and I'm over that chapter; if I have a pimple or two, I don't have a meltdown about it anymore.

It's been 8 long months... but I figured out what to make of "Jess Bunty", and I want you to be involved! Yep, this needs to be a WIN/WIN situation. And I guess, it's normal at this point to feel some kind of an itch, like "what comes next" kind of thing. And right now, I'm still obsessed with business and being your own boss! A long, long time ago, when it was still absolutely disgustingly hot... I filmed a hotel room tour of a neat little place in Japan. Usually when I travel, I stick to hostels! They're cheap, fun, and the ones in Japan ROCK. But during this trip... I splurged. And got a budget hotel room, lol.
Ultimately, I enjoy making videos like this for you because they show "the other side of Japan". Roads less traveled, quiet countryside areas... and I want to encourage you to visit. To feel like you can do this! With little Japanese and a sense of adventure, you can enjoy so many deeper elements of this incredible country. Starting with a big one: what it's like to have your images stolen online. This is a CHRONIC problem. And most of the time, you don't even know it's happened! This is different to "cat fishing" or impersonation (which is also a very big problem). This is companies stealing photos, photoshopping them, and saying that their products and services did great things... IT'S ALL LIES! lol...

LAST ONE. PROBABLY. Well, I hope it is!! Acne has been a part of my life for 20+ years. Insane, right? Like, what the heck is wrong with ME to put up with it that long?! Honestly, it just became a part of who I was. I accepted it. So it didn't bother me so much... unless it did. Unless I was having a particularly crappy day. Unless I had to stand up in front of a classroom and pretend that the bumps all over my face didn't matter. Ugh 😷
So I took Accutane. Last resort! And last week's video went over that journey from the past 2 years. I'm going to keep that video link in my bio for a while, because it shows how much my life has changed!!
Today's video is more-so my upfront, honest thoughts and opinions about what has happened, and continues to happen, since taking Accutane. Sure, a lot of it is good! But this is a serious, controversial medication for a reason. And while I hope I neverrrrrrr have to take it again in my LIFE... I would, if I had to. But I don't want to. Lol.

So, I'm not going to make it a regular thing posting images like this. But it's incredible to see just how much our skin can do a 180! The image on the left was taken in August 2017. I was absolutely distraught. My skin was SO BAD. And I get that whole "you are not your skin" vibe, but JESUS. Come on. This is not a good situation! I'd had enough... so I bit the bullet and went on . Yadda yadda yadda, I think you lot know the rest. I've documented my year on accutane, and today I uploaded one of the LAST VIDEOS EVER about it. I hope. There's no guarantee my acne won't come back. But right now, my skin is bloody awesome and life is looking up. I really hope you enjoy the video! ✌

TGIF! I've been spending this morning talking with a woman who really kicks my butt. She's a straight talker, knows her biz, and genuinely wants to support me. We all need that in our lives! Sometimes we have nothing but "YES" people in our lives. And they probably mean well! But saying "That's great!" isn't constructive. You can't use it. You need people to say "That's great, but..." and really get you focused on improvement! That's the kind of person I 100% appreciate in my life, even if they tell me I'm crap. Which .gerardy has never done (thankfully!) but she has shown me the way forward! ❤ Now I'm outta here to go get my hair done! Look out for those improvement pics tomorrow 😍

Well hey. Do I even need to say it? Not 2 months, not 5, not 6... 7 MONTHS. WHAT. To be honest, I didn't even realise that until I clicked on my last dumb picture of my lunch and it said 20th June. WOW. And you probably think I've done nothing, right? Haaaa... nah. I've had way more plates of boring basic toast, while building my new business! And now that I've gained clarity and focus of my message and my vision, I feel capable of coming back. So... what'd I miss?
