It takes a team of pretty amazing human beings to pull together a ‘gifted’ wedding in just a matter of hours. We did this for a beautiful couple with two young children facing unthinkably difficult times ahead with Jess being recently diagnosed with terminal cervical cancer. One of my celebrants Sharon flagged this situation with me last night and due to the kindness and generous hearts of my team, they have all offered their services and products free of charge. I would like to thank Simon & Lieneke and Cole & Phensan from Mystwood Retreats for use of the venue & a cabin for the bride and groom, Monique & Rachel from Ratique Enterprises Catering, Melissa from Me la crafty designs & my functions supervisor, Chrissy for her amazing desserts, Sharon for her photo booth, David for photography, Simon for videography, Sharon for celebrant services, Jeff for Dj/Mc services and huge love light, Bek for Ceremony & after party styling, Denese from Hunter Valley carriages for horse & carriage, Jenni from brides on Broadwater for the brides dress, Montana for photo editing, Sam for Venue safety/security and my team of wait and bar staff for offering their time from their hearts. We will also be supplying drinks for all the guests. You all make me so proud. Jess & Luke’s EWWAT will be taking place on Tuesday 6th February. One missing link which I’m sure I’ll sort out is hire of suits for the groom and 2 groomsmen and the page boy, so if you have a contact please touch base. If anyone would like to gift anything for this lovely young family please let me know. Things like Coles vouchers for just day to day living or treats like movies, anything would be truly amazing. Anything posted to me, will be assured to reach this lovely family. I am accepting any notes of love and encouragement that you might like to post to me and I will give them to Jess and Luke on their wedding day. Sometimes it’s the simple kind words and encouragement from strangers that can offer strength in difficult times.
