A single software setting on this HP Victus gaming #laptop forced my customers FPS to go from 60 to 500. They complained their #computer was suddenly really slow when playing Overwatch, but all the temps were good. Gaming #tech like this is tricky because sometimes #pc settings can get messed up when an update occurs. In this case, the ECO mode was somehow enabled, which is a #technology setting to conserve energy, but we don't need it when gaming, we want all the power! #techtok For those of you that want an actual breakdown. Disable ECO mode and click Performance mode in the HP Omen Software, crank those fans if you're having temp issues, enable "Prefer Maximum Performance" in "Power Management" in Nvidia settings, and make sure "High Performance" Power option is active in Windows "Battery and Power" settings. This will enable your PC to run as fast as possible.

Apple told my friend Rich Rebuilds his water damaged iPhone was completely dead and his data couldn't be recovered. And even though I don't fix phone's anymore due to the headaches involved, I always help a friend in need of some #tech help. Like all #technology , water is not our friend. Even though your phone may say it's water resistant, it's not waterPROOF, and the manufacturer does not cover water damage under warranty. Having a customer's package stolen is the worst feeling in the world. Especially when you have to eat the loss. This Alienware #pc exploded dust all over my repair bench when it came in for some much needed upgrades. This #computer is using some outdate #tech as its boot drive is still an old mechanical HDD that's super slow. Terrible #computer designs lead to expensive repairs. And nothing is more terrible than modern hinge design on a #laptop where they attach a solid metal hinge to a plastic mount. It seems no matter how much you pay for your #pc #tech , unless you’re buying something with an all metal lid like a MacBook or Razer, your hinge will probably break. The #technology to solve this problem is there, but companies would rather squeeze every penny out of their product than give you something that lasts. This Dell G3 is a prime example. #techtok
