Our Perfect Storm is the name of tonight's spotlight artist and this song is part of a project form the Perth duo who have put together a great collection of songs all about life, love and all the stuff in between. Forget songs about love loss and the ongoing existential crisis of humanity, this weeks Spotlight Artist Sleat has brought us a song about a badger. ‘Fruit Brute’ is all about a badger who goes out, eats rotting fruit and wanders around intoxicated. You may find greater meaning about the issues of excess consumption in among the tasty guitar riffs and siren vocals but ultimately this is a song about a badger.
